أسست الجمعية لتأهيل المستفيدين لحياة أفضل وتحسين أحوالهم الاجتماعية والصحية والثقافية من خلال تقديم الخدمات الاغاثية والاجتماعية لهم , وقد قامت الجمعية بتنفيذ العديد من المشاريع والبرامج والخدمات حتى أصبحت من الجمعيات الرائدة بالمنطقة. وتم تسجيل جمعية البركة الخيرية للخدمات الاجتماعية بالمنطقة الشرقية ومقرها الدمام تحت رقم (511) بإشراف وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية وقد جرى نشر نظامها الأساسي بجريدة أم القرى العدد(4271) الصادر في 28/9/1430هـ .
