105年全民運動會預計在今年11月5日至9日於台中市各區舉辦，參賽單位包含全台22個縣市。
競賽種類暫定第一類有健力、拔河、輕艇水球、巧固球、合球、水上救生、蹼泳、飛盤、滑輪溜冰、滾球、沙灘手球、原野射箭、柔術及運動舞蹈等項目；第二類則有傳統體育：民俗體育、太極拳、元極舞、龍獅運動、國術，及槌球、躲避球、沙灘角力、慢速壘球、劍道及室內曲棍球等項目
