Functions cover convoy enrolment, convoy grouping, wake up call, attendance taking, map positioning of all cars, peer to peer and group messaging and precise location information. It keeps the group safely together. Some users have used it for bike trips or even family tours!
One feature of mobyCar is running in background to collect user's real-time location. Location information is used to keep user safely on planned route and keeps event organisers informed.

Event organisers need to know your whereabouts to keep you safe when you are driving. We strive to provide you convenience of not having to run our app foreground all the time during event. Now, you can play angry bird or communicate with your loved ones on favourite messaging app when your convoy stops for coffee.
● When does tracking stop?
Location tracking will stop when you decided to log out from app or when event is officially over.
● I am interested. How can I use this app since I cannot just log in with my mobile number?
