About 8BallTracker

8BallTracker is a simple app which allows you keep track of pool/billiards games, players, stats, nearby pool halls and more. You can create an account or you can login with Facebook.

You can create sessions associated to places, or you can join friend's sessions. Sessions need a password to join, that way only your friends can join to your session and add games to a particular session, but a players can create a session and send invites that way another participants can join directly without enter a session's password.

- We added support to Push Notifications, that way when a player creates a new session, the player can send invites to previous participants.
- We take security very seriously then we renewed the SSL certificate on the back-end and updated the SSL Pinning procedure/info.
- Improvements on the user interface "UI".

- Showing Nearby places/sessions where games has recently played. It allows to a player swing by a nearby place and play some games.

- The tabs has been re-organized, new tab called: Sharks where best player are shown based on stats.
- When a player adds a new Place, we use Google Place API to get unique information of the place, like name, address. That way places will not been duplicated.
- Using GPS coordinates to show the Sharks / best players list.
We DO NOT keep track of user's location on our system.

- On the Session stats UI, a new UI to check All Games on a Session.
- On the new All Games UI, the owner of the Session can delete games.

The new functionality was added called Places, where the user can associate a session with a place.
Rooms were renamed to Sessions, makes more sense.
The FAQ was added on the Settings
