What is Acadly?
Acadly is a realtime tool for live in-class polling, quizzing, Q&A, attendance and analytics on student behaviour. Compared to clickers and other in-class apps Acadly is free, can save a class of 50 more than $1000 a semester, has a built-in class chat platform so that you don't have to use too many tools for your class.

For everyone, with this update, we have tried to provide a feature to give more information during the attendance process. Now you'll be able to see exactly those 2-3 students aren't being marked. This feature is in beta but we're excited to hear from you!

The semester is over people! Is the semester over? Well, for most you at least it is. Hope you all had a great end-of-term time. If you didn't, remember it's just a term. In the scheme of things, it can possibly make you but never break you. On to the next semester, then!
A very, ahem, timely update to fix a YouTube video streaming issue within the application that was brought to our notice very recently. We have that fixed now. It's all very up to date.

Aaaaand before we know it, the semester is about to be over! We hope all of you had a good semester and that we managed to play our part well.
This build allows instructors to reorder the quiz questions before publishing, something that almost everyone had been asking for. Launching it now for you to have enough time to get used to it before the Fall semester begins!

We updated Zoom's library to bring it at par with the latest developments that Zoom has been making. Essentially, it means you should have a more seamless experience. We also fixed a UI bug that made the top navigation bar look a little wonky in a few screens. Other than that, most of the work was under the hood so you won't be able to see it but you should definitely feel a more seamless experience using Acadly.

Fixed/squashed/decimated/disrupted/annihilated/remedied/marginally-improved a bug that was causing the app to crash while joining an online video meeting halfway through and a few other improvements!

Hybrid classes are a first this semester! With some students in lecture halls and some attending remotely - that's new. While we had already foreseen (ahem) the need, we had made Acadly to cater to most of the hybrid use cases. But reality often throws surprises and based on the feedback from hybrid classrooms, we have introduced a few handy enhancements to make the hybrid experience more seamless
(i) Students present in the classroom won't join the online meetings on Acadly automatically, so no more annoying noises in the middle of the lecture
(ii) We have improved our automatic attendance algorithm to suit these needs better. It is still being worked upon so the changes may not be evident immediately

Hello! We are rushing towards a new semester and keeping in mind the requests from all the online classrooms last semester, we've now worked to make classrooms more interactive by enabling screenshare for students too. While only the students who will access the online meeting from the web app will be able to share their screens, if the instructors want them to, the shared screens will be visible to the students using Acadly's iOS app too!
So we did that and fixed a few glitches!
