With recent iOS and Minecraft updates, the traditional Add-On installation method often does not work. The optimal installation method depends on the combination of iOS and Minecraft versions on your device. You might sometimes need to restart Minecraft after Add-On installation to make it appear in the game as well. This update will give you notifications to restart the Minecraft app as required.

This is an update with brand new features.
• First, we have added a section called Studio. Using Studio, you can mix resource and behavior packs to create new Add-On. It can create both .McTemplate and .McAddon. You can inspect the files inside the Add-On, manually edit JSON text files, and import/export image files. Package priorities can be modified as well. We will be adding graphical texture editor with the next update.
• Second, we have added a package importer tool. Choose "Open in MCPE Addons" after downloading a package from the web browser or other apps. The importer tool can automatically fixes errors and recreates manifest as needed. What this means, of course, is that Add-On that you process through the importer tool will always get exported and installed successfully.
• Lastly, we have added a Today widget. Conveniently check what's new by swiping to the Today view from the home screen.
The update contains various minor bug fixes as well. Although the features above are in the initial stage, we will work hard to add new functionalities and improve them quickly. We hope you like it.
