Agro-Assist

Agro-Assist is an agricultural journaling application developed by DuPont Pioneer for farmers, which aims to provide users with useful and informative tools during their everyday work.

Functions of the application:

Home Screen
Farm location(s)
• Visualization of precipitation (own measurements or data from agro-meteorological station) in weekly, monthly views or by growing season,
• Information and forecast about the soil temperature,
• Current news – warning alerts about possible pests.

Calendar
Data can be added daily by specific location and plant-hybrid. The calendar also allows users to create photo journals and to set reminders for different work phases and processes.

Information added can include:
• Daily precipitation
• Irrigation
• Field work
• Fertilization
• Crop protection
• Pests/diseases

Database
• Trial results: productivity of selected hybrid compared to average
• Product catalog: products distributed by Pioneer Hi-Bred Plc. and their short description

More – Agronomist Finder
With the Agronomist Finder users can search for the assigned agronomist in their location and they can also forward the information and photos added to the calendar to them via the application.
