We're working hard to bring allygator back on the streets - stay tuned for more news soon! In this release, we fixed all bugs (all of them).

Our iOS engineers are in Siberia right now for a bootcamp on bear wrestling. Previously, 5 bugs were fixed.

We're silently improving the app before we start our operations again, adding features and cleaning things up. Trust us, it's worth the wait!

allygator will be back on the streets in July, no worries! We're in the middle of reconfiguring the service so it will actually make a difference on the streets. In the meantime, we're updating the app to prepare for our new operations. See you soon!

It's the BIG UPDATE you've all been waiting for. For vague technical reasons, we had to increase the version number from 2 to 6. You probably don't care, but for the 3 of you reading this: enjoy.

If you didn't realize yet that we also show routes with tram, bus and your favourite Bahn, you will now definitely see it with the shiny new bar we added to the cards. And this is just the beginning!

Other than that, we kept our iOS devs locked up until they fixed all the bugs that were grinding our gears. So here it goes:

- Even if allygator shuttle is not available, at least you will see the start and end pins on the map, so you will never forget where you're going.

- We fixed a bug preventing you from adding a credit card - so you don't need to carry around a bag of eurocents anymore.

- If you booked a ride, then cancelled, then tried booking again, the app would passive aggressively stop working.

- The 'Select location from the map' button in the suggestions list could become invisible in certain cases - we took the Cloak of Invisibility away (but lost it again).

- The 'Set location' button when selecting a location from the map could remain visible on the screen while swiping between cards, like a stalker trying to get your attention. Now, it's less stalkery, but not less functional.

- Fixed the MOST ANNOYING BUG where your current location wouldn't get filled in for your departure location - finally fixed this, Jesus.

- Fixed a bug where, after returning from results back to the home screen, the current location button could be in the wrong place on the map and make the app look like Nestor Cervéro (look him up).

- We partly fixed a bug where users who are waiting for their ride or are underway would see a message saying 'something went wrong' - it should now happen less often and the error message should now be more precise, but we still have no clue what the heck is going on, sorry!

Our allygator got a bit overexcited and started pushing buttons all over the place! Luckily, we managed to calm him down and put everything back in the right place with this update. Also, if your payment method has expired, we now correctly link you through to the place where you can add a new one. Sweet!

New year, new you. And new us. Our New Year's resolution is to be a better allygator, and this update starts with that right away: we fixed a bug that prevented your current location from updating, and we adjusted some elements on the map to look pixel-perfect!

We pushed out one last release before the holidays to splatter some nasty bugs that were hanging around for a while. Some buttons were getting out of the iPhone X(S) safe space, the menu didn't always reach the top of the screen, the autosuggest list was down when you needed it to be up and the other way around, and if you didn't want the app to use your location, it would jump to Settings every time you launched it. In short, it was a mess. Now, it's not anymore. Happy holidays! allygator mic drop.

Our little allygator was a bit too hungry for bytes, so we put him on a diet. Now, the app will eat less data, so you can binge Netflix for half a second longer before hitting your monthly limit.

The best is yet to come. But not now. In this version, we proudly bring you new icons for public transport stops. Our engineers also made the app more Decodable, and fixed some bugs that have been comfortably sitting around since our previous release.

If you search when we're not operating, we'll give you a little reminder instead of only showing public transport routes. We know you love us. It's not you, it's us. Hop back on every Friday evening from 17h until 1h!

We also made it clearer how and how much you're going to pay for your ride - don't forget to add your credit card, it's easier!

On top of that, we made the splash screen more splashy, while Henrique kept Dylan locked in a room until he fixed all tiny UI issues. Now, he doesn't get nightmares about padding anymore.

You can ‘now’ decide to search for public transport leaving at a ‘later’ time. Not for allygator rides, though, - *zooms in dramatically* - yet.

Also, we achieved 5% more rounded corners, 3% more button animations, and Emma prepared the best sausages last Friday. Thank you for choosing allygator, and see you next time!

We like strings so much. Todd, our translator, and Lidia, our proofreader, usually come into the office in the morning shouting "STRINGS!!" So we changed a couple of them with no other purpose than to make them happy.
Now, you'll know when to 'Get going' instead of 'Departing', and we made it clearer how many passengers you'll book a ride for.
We also fixed two typos in German, which you probably don't care about, but Todd and Lidia do, so here you go.

We employ an army of typewriter monkeys to create random invitation codes for you, but they've started asking for more vacation days and now they're forming a union. In the meantime, you can already have a look at the app without signing up, so you're ready to go once that magical email arrives in your inbox!

Our shuttles have never crashed. For consistency's sake, we made sure our apps also don't crash. Less crashes = more shared rides = less private cars on the street. So download this update!

IT'S COMING FOR YOU! Book a ride and watch your shuttle roam around the map, twisting and turning at intersections like you’re watching The Fast And The Furious. Your wait will be a lot more enjoyable!

Also, we’ve fixed one issue where you might not have received our great push notifications; one where the current location button ended up in the wrong place from time to time; and one where, when you cancelled your ride, the app would say that something went wrong and your ride was cancelled. Because obviously, that was what you wanted, wasn’t it?

It’s spring, and the colour green is in fashion again! So we haven’t only put the allygator app in a fresh green outfit, in fact, we have changed the whole app for an even better travel experience!

We listened to your feedback and have spent a lot of time redesigning the app. Our developers shed blood and tears and were on the brink of breakdown to release it in time, but thanks to their suffering you can now:
- select your origin and destination on the map, so you never ever have to type your address again,
- see exactly where your driver will pick you up and how you can walk there in time,
- compare with public transport options, because we love all types of transportation that gets people out of their cars!

Also, the whole app has now been 95% RxSwiftified, which doesn’t mean anything to you but it makes our developers really happy!

On the downside, we are reducing operations to Friday evenings from 17h until 1h in the east half of the S-Bahn ring. Rides cost 5 cts/km per passenger, which is slightly more than 0 cts but just a fraction of the cost of driving your own car!
