About Alpine Ski Coach
The Alpine Ski Coach App is developed by Alpine Canada Alpine (ACA) and the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation (CSCF), a division of ACA. The App is designed as a mobile resource tool for member coaches to help plan daily on snow training sessions for young ski racers using a wide variety of drills.
Members
Alpine Ski Coach has a LOG IN for members. Members get the additional benefit of more video content and interactive session planning tools.
If you are NOT a CSCF accredited coach, with an existing user ID and password, you still have access to content, but fewer drills, and no session planning tools.
To become a CSCF accredited coach, attend and successfully complete the evaluation at a scheduled coach certification course in Canada, offered by ACA-CSCF or one of ACA’s provincial sport organizations.
Highlights
Essentials – use basic principles of planning an Alpine ski coaching session to structure your session plan.
My Plans – create your daily training sessions using the interactive session planner and drill selector. Filter drills using a variety of criteria. Email your plans to athletes and parents, or anyone in your contacts.
Benchmarks – watch benchmark skiing in various age groups in training and racing in free skiing and gates. This helps create a visual image of what good skiing and training looks like.
Drills – search and select from over 100 drills to help create training session and accomplish your day training goals for your athletes.
There’s also an extra section on ski tuning from experts in the field.
The App also features a download manager so you can save any of the streamed videos to your own device. Use your saved videos when not connected to the Internet.
Help athletes on their road to success in ski racing.
