About Ami - Friend Journal
Ami focuses on one of the most important things in your life... your relationships! Be that romantic, acquaintance, family, or colleague, the connections you have with other people are one of the most important resources for you to cultivate.
Ami is designed to be your go-to tool for enhancing your connections through practicing mindfulness and applying those techniques to your relationships.
Features
- Sort relationships into 4 unique categories : friend, romantic, colleague, family
- Add a profile photo to each relationship for quick reference
- Quick and easy search functionality to find just who your looking for in the moment
- Set reminders to help you check in on each of the relationships that matter most
- Dark Mode support
- The ability to archive relationships so that they are hidden but still available for viewing later/when necessary
Ami makes it easy for you to jot down notes and to quickly brush up on your latest interactions before your next meeting.
Ami was inspired by comments like "What's up... friend!" and thoughts like *What's their name again...*. Just hearing someone's name is not enough to compete with all of the other things that are going on. By reinforcing your memory through writing down your connection's information and then brushing up before your next interaction, prepare to make a lasting impression!

An improvement to the usability of tag input. Now it will be easier to see what you are typing and all of the tags you have currently.

So I think one of the best things about finishing an app (just released "DownNBack", go check it out if your interested in running/biking!) is that I finally have time to perform some small fixes to my other apps! After taking a little bit of a break, it is so refreshing to come back and see all of the things that you can improve!
Here are some of the changes coming to AmiApp this release:
1. Google Analytics : Trying to gain more insight into what people are using and what people aren't. With this information, I can better tailor to the better and more used features.
2. The first letter of people's last name now appears in the main view so that you can have one more small indicator on who is who, especially if you have more than one friend with the same name.
3. Some design and appearance improvements to the friend detail view
4. Fixed a couple of bugs where if you left a screen while editing a tag/name/etc(the keyboard was still showing), it didn't end up saving right away and your changes didn't appear to save. This happened when editing the first/last/emoji tags and when editing a tag in the tag editor view.
5. Some design improvements to the tag editor screen. Now if you have a really long tag description, it won't "ellipsis-out" and you can see all of the text at once.
More improvements on the way now that I am in between projects! I look forward to making the many small changes that will continue to take AmiApp closer to being a great product
Thanks!

Some usability improvements to the tag scrollview:
- Tags now appear from most recent to oldest, rather than the other way around
- The way that tags are create is now more friendly with tags that are longer/need multiple lines. With this update, you can use tags any way you want, either a bunch of short keywords or full length sentences, or even a bit of both! Your call.
Thank you for the continued support!

Pretty much a new app!
1. Most of the unused features have been hidden in order to focus on the ones that were being used most.
2. The primary focus is now the tags/short keywords. These tags and keywords will all be displayed on the detail view for easy viewing. You can press the tags in the list to go to a tag detail view where you can add a more detailed journal entry if you would like. You can delete tags by long pressing or pressing the settings button in the top right of the tag detail view.
3. Choosing the color of your friend's profile has changed! There is now a color wheel instead of a bunch of buttons. Just rotate the color wheel until you have the desired color and then your all set.
4. Another focus is the emoji tag. Along with someones name, you can tag people with one emoji that defines them. This is just there to help you remember them, so maybe something related to how you met or something that describes them as a person.
