About Bullying: Get It Heard!

Bullying: Get it Heard! enables victims of bullying to create notes of bullying events.

You may not yet feel able to talk to a parent, carer or teacher. If so, you can use Bullying: Get It Heard! to get your thoughts in order and try to make sense of what’s going on. You can save your data, so you can share it when and if you’re ready.

Or, if you’ve reported the bullying, you can use Bullying: Get It Heard! to make notes of bullying events so there’s a clear record of what happened.

In using Bullying: Get it Heard!, please remember:

- Bullying is completely wrong. You’re entitled to live your life without being bullied. To achieve this, when you’re ready, you’ll need to tell a parent, carer or teacher.

- Sometimes you’ll know exactly who did what when. Other times, you won’t. If you don’t, you should still record what you know about the episodes. If your bag disappears three times in a week, that might be careless or bad luck; but it might be bullying.

- I’ve included a password to stop casual browsing or editing by other people who can unlock your device, but this is low-level security. The password is not encrypted, nor are your records. This means someone who can unlock your device and has moderate IT skills could access your data.
