Caravn Carpool

Caravn is a carpool app for managing your daily commute. Sign up ahead of time for the days and times that work for you, and Caravn will match you with up to 3 of your coworkers traveling to the same destination. We'll figure out who's turn it is to drive, the best place to meet, and when you need to leave to get everyone there on time.

Because everybody takes turns driving, there's no cost per ride, no surge pricing, and no tips. We're offering this service for free during our initial roll-out.

Caravn is not an on-demand ride-hailing service. Because everyone takes turns driving, there's no overhead associated with paying a dedicated driver. And because you sign up the day before, the system can maximize ridership and minimize your driving time. Caravn is designed for commuters who:
- typically drive more than 20 minutes to work in each direction,
- can commit to a set work-schedule at least 12 hours in advance, and
- can drive and have ready access to a vehicle that can safely accommodate 3 passengers.

How does it work?
1. Install the Caravn app.
2. Create an account and link your work email address.
3. Sign up for carpool by 7:00 PM the night before.
4. By 8:00 PM, we'll let you know who's turn it is to drive, where to meet, and when to leave to get everyone to work on-time. The in-app chat makes it easy to work out any last minute details.
