Cutting Chaii means 'Cut into half'. We serve 'TAPAS STYLE' classic Indian food in our sit-in servings where all dishes are smaller in portions to give you the opportunity to enjoy 2/3 dishes per persons within a reasonable price.Here at 'Cutting Chaii' original Bombay cafe looks forward to taking back our customers to old Bombay Irani cafe's to experience the great textures of Indian classic food. Back in 19th century Irani cafes were so popular all over in India specially in Bombay (currently called Mumbai) to all working class peoples, students, lawyers, nurses, bus drivers for their incredible tasty and flavoured, pastries, grills and classsic indian dishes serving in cosy & vibrant atmosphere. We tried to give our guests those Iranian cafe experience into our sitting-in cafe as much as possible, As today only25 Iranian cafes remain in Bombay
