Let Instructor take away the chore of ADI admin and put the focus back on teaching pupils!

Instructor is the perfect companion for driving instructors to track learner progress as they build up to pass their driving test. With a simple and intuitive design, it’s the perfect app for any ADI to use to manage their students.

Instructor contains these great features:

PROGRESS TRACKING

As a driving instructor, knowing how well your students have progressed is crucial. Luckily, Instructor makes that quick & easy! A simple 0 to 5 coloured scale allows you to visually see how well a pupil is doing on a per topic basis. Add comments to point out what they’ve done well and ways in which they could improve.

LESSON PLANS

ADIs can use the Next Lesson feature to quickly enter a next lesson date and time to set when a student’s next lesson is. Add some comments to remember the last lesson’s contents and start planning for the next lesson.

PRESET TOPICS

As an ADI, time management is critical which is why setup has been made quick and simple to complete. Instructor has a number of preset topics that allow you to get started in teaching driving right away! The preset topics included are:

Whilst a quick setup is useful, those looking for more customisation, can also choose to create their own topics to evaluate a learner against or, remove the existing preset ones. They’re easy to create and can even be assigned on a per student basis too!

SYNCING

If you’re using more than one device, Instructor automatically syncs all of your learner progress across all iCloud connected devices.

In this update:

- Instructor has been given a visual refresh with a new colour scheme, app icon and improved layout across the app.

- On the progress view, there is now an Overall Progress tracker which contains a percentage based on how much they have completed all topics.

- Added the ability to input a phone number and/or email address for students so you can easily contact them if needed.

- Data will now be automatically saved on each screen so you’ll no longer need to tap a save button.

- Added the ability to filter students, topics and progress, lessons and notes with a search bar on each screen.

- Added the ability to disable haptic feedback in the settings menu.

- The Mac app is now full native instead of just being the iPad app.

- Improved navigation which includes automatically selecting students when adding, deselecting topics on iPad when switching students and more. New notes are also automatically selected when creating too.

- Added a help section to the settings menu for quick access to some FAQs.

- Added compatibility for iOS 17 and bumped the minimum OS version to iOS 16.

- Other bug fixes & improvements.

Instructor is back with a brand new app! Here are some of the brand new features:

- All-New Design: Makes it easier than ever to track student progress.

- Simpler System: The simpler management system makes it quicker to update progress.

- Custom Topics: A much requested feature - you can now input your own topics and remove existing ones to your taste.

- Pupil Sorting: You can now manually sort students and give them a tint colour.

- Improved Linking: It's now easier to link with students using a QR code.

Instructor will soon be upgrading to a brand new app based on an entirely new system. In doing so, you'll need to sign up to a new account in the brand new app when it launches sometime in the next few weeks.

This release contains the ability to export your existing data to make the transition easier for you. If you have any additional questions, please direct them to info@adamfoot.uk. Full instructions can be found inside the app.

Accounts in the new app will be free to register but will require an Instructor Pro license to use advanced features such as adding more than 3 students and creating custom topics (a much requested feature). All existing driving instructors will be given access to Instructor Pro which is the same price as the license they bought when signing up.

Speed was a key factor that impacted performance so in this version, the loading screen has gone and you'll be able to jump straight into managing your students every time without waiting for the loading screen to clear.
Improvements in this release will mean that the app should now crash less and you'll be able to focus on what matters most.

With this release, you'll also be able to add a password to your account to keep all of your data secure.

Changing student progress is now done through a brand new slider on a scale 0 - 5.

Finally, plenty of bugs have also been fixed to ensure that Instructor remains your choice app for managing your students!
