About My Speaker (for Sonos)

Control your Sonos system by talking to your Amazon Alexa devices! Talk to Alexa and control all your music, all over your home. This app needs installing on an iOS device attached to your local network (the same one as your Sonos equipment).

Once its running you can say "Alexa, ask My Speaker to"...
"play Adele in the Kitchen"
"play rock in the Lounge"
"play Thriller by Michael Jackson"
"pause"
"volume to 30"
"add the media room" (for grouping rooms)
"pause everything" and many other things.

The app can search your local music library, TuneIn radio stations, Apple Music, Spotify, Napster, and Amazon Music for the things you ask. (Your Sonos will need to be previously configured for those services).

This app is not connected to, or endorsed by, Sonos Inc.

The app requires a configured Sonos music system and at least one Amazon Alexa device. It is currently only compatible with US Amazon accounts. Start off by telling your Alexa system "Alexa, open My Speaker".
