No more chilly UI moments! We’ve melted away the freezes when you enable ‘Open Player Automatically.’ Smooth sailing from here on out!
We’re introducing the shiny new Star button on your CarPlay Now Playing screen!
And last, but not least, we polished the rows on the watch app for the ones of you on watchOS 10!

Hope you’re recovering from the New Year’s festivities because we’ve got some news that’ll add an extra bounce to your step.
So, last year’s gift from us had a tiny hiccup, but no worries! We rushed to the store, polished it up, and guess what? The smooth player transition is back, shining brighter than ever!
But hold on, the celebration doesn’t stop there. We also improved the Now Playing scrubber accessibility, fixed the star functionality on native Now Playing widgets for iOS 17.1 and later, added theme support to the Up Next, and also changed how logs are stored to improve performance and battery consumption.
Phew! That’s a lot! But there’s still a lot more to come! Stay tuned!

We've also resolved an annoying issue that some of you might have encountered. Remember when your app would start playing automatically after putting your AirPods back in their case? Well, we've tackled that problem head-on, ensuring that your podcasts stay silent until you're ready to dive back in.

No more odd scroll indicator colors on the player tabs - now it's groovy and on point! Also, we fixed those pesky rendering issues with it, so they're as crisp as ever! Tab-static!
Your user files play nice with us again, we fixed playing/pausing from the interactive widgets.
And for those of you who are lucky enough to already own an iPhone 15, "White Line Fever" is over! Say goodbye to the enigmatic white line glitch; it is now history.
Changes in this release:
- Fixes tapping links to import podcasts
- Fixes the player tab scroll indicator colors
- Fixes an issue where the player tabs may not render correctly
- Fixes the play/pause on interactive widgets not working for user files
- Fixes a white line appearing in the newest iPhone 15 models

Lights, Camera, Import! Get ready to roll, because importing audio and movie files just got a whole lot smoother! Just grab your file, tap Share, and select Pocket Casts!
We’ve also given the "Remote Skips Chapters" setting a new home in the brand new "Headphone Controls" section. You can now customize what action will be performed when using the next or previous track action from your headphones.
Changes in this release:
- Added import support for audio and movie files

- Moved the Remote Skips Chapters setting from General to the Headphone Controls.
