About RMS iPOS
RMS iPOS is a mobile Point of Sale (POS) application for Microsoft's Retail Management System (RMS).
The RMS iPOS application enables an iPad or iPhone to become a fully integrated POS device, and can be used, as an additional POS in an existing store, or as a POS in a Stand-alone store.
This provides and ideal solution for Queue / Line Busting, or a POS for a Mobile Sales Person or Vendor, or a Pop-up store.
RMS Items are synchronised form the RMS database, allowing items to be selected from a list or searched, or scanned using a Bluetooth barcode scanner.
RMS Customer can also be selected or created in RMS iPOS.
Sales Transactions, Quotations and Work Orders can be created, and then recalled in the Windows RMS application.
The RMS iPOS application will work connected (Online) or remote (Offline) from the database seamlessly, and can connect via Wifi or the Cellular / Mobile data networks.
RMS iPOS will work on a 16Gb iPhone or iPad, running iOS version 7.0 or above.

This is a major upgrade and along with a bunch of improvements, we have added the following significant additions:
1. Credit / Debit Card payment processing in the US, UK and Australia. RMS iPOS now fully integrates with PayPal Here. The PayPal Here Pin Pad (M010) connects to your iOS device via Bluetooth and accepts Credit & Debit card payments via Swipe, Chip and Pin or Tap (NFC).
2. Ability to perform a Physical Inventory / Stock Take on your iOS device. Load your Physical Inventory onto your iOS device, scan or count your items and then synchronise your stock count with RMS to calculate the variances and apply the adjustments.

* Numerous other usability improvements, including improvements to Item and Customer searches
NOTE: If you have already installed version 1, please delete it from your device and reinstall the application. We have connected the application to a new RMS Sample Database (instead of our testing database) and all old data needs to be removed from the device. In future, you will not have to delete the application to apply updates.
