2018 Troya Yılı oldu. Yerel ölçekte başlayan bir inisiyatifin, uluslararası kültür ve turizm vizyonuna dönüştüğü bir süreçte, dünyanın en çok bilinen ikinci kültürel miras alanı Troya, üzerinde herkesin uzlaştığı bir değerler manzumesi olarak tüm dünyada 2018 yılına damga vuracak.
2018 yılı, Troya’nın UNESCO Dünya Kültür Mirası Listesine girişinin yirminci yıl dönümü. Avrupa Parlementosu 2018 yılını Avrupa Kültür Mirası Yılı ilan etti. Bu çerçevede Avrupa genelinde çalışmalar yürütülecek. Troya Müzesi, 2018 yılı içerisinde dünyaya kapılarını açmaya hazırlanıyor.
