We are thrilled to have been welcomed into the Zomato family! Zomato is present in 22 countries, has over 1 million restaurant listings, and more than 95 thousand reviewers.

We are releasing a new logo in this update! This new logo uses the spoon from Urbanspoon and carries Zomato's theme color - a perfect mixture of both the brands. We also fixed a critical bug causing slow load times.

Don't update the app to this version! New version with fix coming soon. Found severe usability issue. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Multi photo upload: You can now upload up to 5 photos at a time from the gallery on any restaurant page. If you like adding photos, it is now up to 5 times better!

Urbanspoon's updated iPhone app adds these exciting new features:

Filters You Can Personalize - View the types of restaurants you really want. Some possibilities include: hottest (according to bloggers and critics), most popular with diners, tonight's availability, price, and your wishlist.

Editorial Lists - Choose from 22 years of James Beard Award winners, Eater's hottest 38 restaurants in major cities, or Village Voice top critic picks in over a dozen markets. Add this to existing expert reviews from the Urbanspoon local food blogger network (the world's largest).

Interactive Map - Restaurant lists now feature an map that allows you to narrow it down by cuisine, distance, name, popularity, and price.

Wishlist - Diners can use the wishlist feature to keep track of restaurants they want to try. Now the wishlist knows your location and will let you know if a wishlist restaurant is nearby.

New Look - A slick visual design features bold filters at the top of the home screen to make it easy to browse around or find exactly what you're looking for, without losing the serendipitous discovery of Urbanspoon's signature slot machine shake.


***NOTE*** There are two bugs in this version that may impact you. If you use the app regularly in a bus or car, it will reload with your new location while you move, making the app difficult to use. Second, you cannot launch the app if you are more than 50 miles from an Urbanspoon restaurant. Fixes are in development and will be available soon on the App Store. We apologize for any inconvenience.

What's new in this release: Small bug fixes.

Good news for our users who have already tried and love Dineline to track where they’re eating out – Dineline can now be added to your Facebook Timeline to allow you to share those dining experiences with your friends.

Now you can integrate your dining history into your Facebook Timeline to upload photos of memorable meals, connect with friends over favorite cuisines and help them discover great new restaurants. It also offers a snapshot of interesting statistics in your dining habits.

Please note that you must have Facebook Timeline enabled for your Facebook account to integrate with Urbanspoon.
