About Arkas Sailing Team

Arkas Sailing Team’ın en önemli özelliklerinden biri, sporcuların çoğunun yelkeni, hobinin ötesinde, profesyonel meslek olarak yapmaları ve milli yelkenci sıfatıyla ülkemizi temsil etmiş olmalarıdır. Arkas Sailing Team önce BAYK The Marmara Kış Trofesi’nde daha sonra da TAYK (Türkiye Açık Deniz Yelken Kulübü) tarafından düzenlenen Deniz Kuvvetleri Kupası’nda birincilik elde etmiştir.
5 yıldır yarışlara katılan üst üste birincilik dereceleri kazanan takım, Kerr 40 teknesi ile yarışlara katılıyor. Yeniden yapılanan Yelken Şubesi ile birlikte Arkas Sailing Team’in hedefi uluslararası yarışlarda da şampiyonluklar kazanmaktır.
