Here’s what you’ll find in the latest version:
The “PAY” button has a new home and a new name:
At the bottom of the screen in a blue box, you’ll see a button which reads “I’M ALREADY IN A TAXI”. This is where you’ll tap to enter your 7-digit taxi pairing code to pre-pay for your ride. With your feedback, we made this adjustment to simplify the pairing process and create a more seamless app experience.
Destination First:
We’re able to determine your current location to provide you with real-time availability of taxis in your area. All you have to do is tell us where you’d like to go. Entering your destination to hail a cab will help us devise the most efficient route and provide your driver with the directions needed to get you there.
Greater Accessibility:
Our mission is to make mobility simple, safe, and accessible for everyone. We’ve added new features to allow passengers with accessible needs to hail rides on demand. For more information visit: www.ridearro.com/aar

Billing Address. As part of upgrades to our security system, you will be prompted to insert your billing address for each card you have stored. This is to help add an extra layer of protection to your payment information. Do it once, and you’re good to go - we've got your back!

- Proximity Confirmation. It’s a big deal! If we suspect someone else jumped into a ride you ordered, we’ll ask you to confirm or cancel the ride. (We’d tell you how we do it, but it’s secret sauce.)
- Your Phone Is an Electric Sign. Help your driver find you. If you’ve ordered a ride and want to stand out from the crowd transform your app into an electric sign with a tap of your hand! Tap the lower right-hand corner of the screen (where you see your assigned vehicle number) and a full-screen display of your driver’s number will appear. Lift it up as your driver approaches for a no-miss connection!
- Select vehicle type. In some cities, you can choose from a variety of vehicles. Simply tap the default type shown (usually taxi) and see what’s available.
- Promo Codes. We now accept promo codes! We will be rolling out promotions and associated capabilities soon, city by city, and the option now appears in the menu. When promotions are available in your city, simply input the promo code to benefit from it on subsequent rides. Who doesn’t love free stuff?
