HEY EVERYONE! Thanks for being super awesome!
NEW STUFF:
+ Do you have to pound your midi keyboard to get a note to play loudly? Do you barely press a key and have it play too loud? Well now you can adjust S1's sensitivity to MIDI Velocity in the Settings pop-over. Enable “Velocity-sensitive MIDI” and adjust the sensitivity knob to make your performance as expressive as possible for your keyboard. Also great with ROLI keyboards.
+ Fixed a bug that broke reordering your presets
+ Fixed a bug that hid the text of the name when saving presets.
+ Playing the Arp in down mode now plays keys in the order pressed (thanks to Francis Preve for this idea)

Thanks everyone! LOTS of awesome updates, We're always improving Synth One!
This update fixes the top two types of crashes people have with Synth One.
Thanks to volunteer Matthias Frick for these fixes.

Plus, NEW code by Marcus Hobbs:
• Single Tap Display Control Value: single tap of a control displays it’s value in header…no more changing controls to see what their value is
• LFO smoothing: Saw & Square wave LFO’s now are smoothed to reduce/eliminate clicks and pops
• Taper: Master Volume and Filter Cutoff knob have values more evenly spread (does not affect presets…just how the controls make the most of their range when dialing in sounds)

PLUS,
• Fixed new sound bank "Sound of Izrael 2" (SOI)
• New App Store Preview Movie for iPhone featuring music made with Synth One by Brice Beasley

Additionally, Synth One founder Matthew Fecher has written something. Why we made Synth One:

Music is everywhere. It’s one of the things we love about living in this world (along with coffee, guacamole, and a few other things).

Think about how music has changed. I’m not talking about how Nirvana changed music in the 90s. I’m not even talking about how The Beatles changed music in the 60s. Go further. What about Bach? What about Ugg?

Wait, who’s Ugg?

Ugg is the cave person I made up. He banged a rock with a stick, did the first drum stick twirl, and gave a cool “Ooooooooh.”

My point, which probably took too long to make, is that we’ve come a long way since primitive musical instruments. What would Bach or The Beatles have done without pianos and guitars? They might have cured cancer or something, who knows, but they gave us incredible music.

They had access to the instruments of their time. And, they changed lives through music.

Now think about the countless people who could have created amazing pieces if they’d had access to instruments. Think about all their lost music. What could they have created?

That’s what inspired us to create AudioKit Synth One.

There are millions of people around the world with access to iPads through school or social programs. People who have the next wave of life-changing music in them. But many can’t afford professional apps and even more don’t have credit cards to download them.

The idea that someone who might have been lost to music history will now have access to amazing tools to create music is what inspires us. It inspires us when we have a bad day. It inspires us when we struggle with code that won’t run quite right.

Synth One is limited only by your imagination. People are using it for radio, television, PODcasts, YouTube, films, video game production, commercials, and more. The world needs your music.

We’re not saying we are going to create world peace… but we’re not NOT saying that either.

Free, open-source tools like Synth One inspire musical creativity and can be amazingly powerful in anyone’s hands.

+ Synth One now loads 400% faster! Synth One starts lightning fast now.
Thanks to Matthias Frick from Ableton for this feature. Plus, other great contributions in this update:
+ Fixed a crash that would occur when headphones are being plugged in on some iOS devices
+ Improved how allocation/deallocation of the DSP Kernel is being handled
+ Fixed a small memory leak with portamento-voicing
+ Removed use of malloc in C++ code
+ Bumped C++11 to C++17

Updates by Matthew Fecher:
+ Now saves MIDI Learn on 20+ more knobs - Will now load/save "MIDI learn" settings on ADSR & FX Panel knobs
+ Fixed "save as" functionality. If you rename a preset it will create a copy, instead of saving over the original preset.
