AXIS IP Camera Viewer by OWLR Description
Wouldn't you like a AXIS IP Camera Viewer app that makes finding and viewing your AXIS cameras quick and easy?

The AXIS IP Camera Viewer has been designed to support (almost) the entire AXIS Family with a focus on home (e.g., baby monitoring, pet monitoring, home security) and office use (e.g., store security).

NOTE: If you have other branded cameras like Foscam or D-Link, you might wish to check out the OWLR Multi IP Camera app on the App Store (http://hootie.co/owlrappfa).

Some of our user's favorite features include:

NATIVE IPAD SUPPORT
OWLR: AXIS supports iPad natively giving you the ability to see your entire set of surveillance cameras -- all at the same time. OWLR: AXIS is great for the home security camera enthusiast or a new parent wanting to keep an eye on their baby.

CAMERA AUTO DISCOVERY
Our smart auto-discovery feature detects your AXIS IP web cam and can complete the install in less than 30 seconds.

AUDIO LISTEN AND PUSH TO TALK
OWLR is working on connecting to all baby monitoring and security cameras that allow for audio listen and push-to-talk (PTT). If enabled, you can speak to your pet, hear what your baby is burbling or speak to the delivery guy at the front door - all from your iPhone app.

AND MORE FEATURES COMING!
We are furiously adding new features every week based on user feedback - send us your feedback at http://hootie.co/owlr-users-suggest and we will respond with more information.

After eighteen months and a pandemic later, Johnson Mc Johnson here - FINALLY making an update on the app!

Due to the pandemic and much lower investment, our team are so dedicated that we have been operating on a volunteer basis - still working to develop and improve the app.

In this version, we have worked on

- offer to port change when your camera's ports are on unsafe ports that could be hacked or conflict with others
- dark mode form values being unreadable
- stability and improvements since our last release for iOS 14

With these updates, along with our normal bug bashing, we look forward to the smiles that come with a new update for you.

We are still kicking and developing and still searching for partners and investors.

Thanks for being with OWLR and remember…

1.6.22 2019-10-04
Johnson McJohnson here.

I must humbly apologize for the delay in this release, the iOS 13 update has caused us a bit of a problem in keeping with our privacy focus.

Since we keep all of your details on your phone, the app must be smart enough to know when you are at home (where your cameras are) and when you are not. Unlike other apps, we do not rely on servers to make holes in your router to access your camera.

But, unless the app can see which Wifi Network it is on, it will not properly connect with your cameras either home or away. Thus, we need you to allow the app to see your wifi network details - which is only available via the Location Permissions.

So, with this release, you will be requested to give the app permission to see your Wifi details — and you should be aware that NONE of that information is shared outside of your own phone - to keep your private details private.

Thank you for being part of the OWLR family - and we are looking forward to sharing some great news in the future.

1.6.20 2019-06-20
Johnson McJohnson here - and feeling quite proud to announce this version.

One of the challenges OWLR has when ensuring your camera privacy is the fact that we do not store your camera passwords or access details in our cloud. All of our intelligence is on the app and stays with you in your device.

To that end, we spent a great deal of time ensuring that your phone and your cameras are on the same home network - even when the world (e.g., your ISP, your router, your very smart nephew) changes things around. Now, when you have a change of external IP address, we will alert you and let you make your own mind on what to do.

Aside from that, if you have any questions, concerns or ideas, please send an email to support@owlr.com or simply use the Feedback icon in the app to ask for more.

As always from us, Happy Viewing!

Johnson McJohnson here - good to see you all having fun with the app and we are working hard to improve its performance. Whilst you may not see anything special with the app, we have been working hard to improve the apps ability to determine when you are home, rather than when away. We are NOT using any external tracking services, so the app needs to identify the home network and the home routers you have to find the right ID to make sure the app connects - whether you use one router or a mesh network. If all is done right, you should have a terrific setup and connection from now on. If you have any problems, simply send us an email at support@owlr.com or use the InApp Feedback icon within the app for our team to work with you. Happy Viewing!
1.6.15 2019-02-20
Johnson McJohnson here! Yes, once again, our team of intrepid developers have been hard at work developing new fixes for new environments.

This time - we are tackling MESH NETWORKS! Yes, these range extenders and repeaters have caused a bit of a bugger in our user’s lives.

Try it out if you had some challenges before moving around the house. Since we do not store any of your personal information in our servers, only you have control over your cameras and your network. All we are doing is making sure our app works well in your home.

If there is a problem - send us a note at support@owlr.com! Otherwise, make sure you keep an eye on everything.

And Happy Viewing!

Johnson McJohnson here - and yes, we have been a bit quiet for over two months. But, as always, there are great reasons for our silence and effort. Our team had some well-deserved time off to recharge, but now they are back and working hard to get the OWLR ball rolling again!

In this release, OWLR has put on their deerstalker hats, grabbed our magnifying glasses and investigated some smaller bugs. After all, “The little things are infinitely the most important.” Consider this case solved!

We’ve also put some serious brain-work into improving functionality, and your OWLR experience should be smoother than ever before. We have plenty of plans for OWLR this year, and we can’t wait to share more details with you all.

As always from us, happy viewing!
1.5.5 2017-12-11
Hello there OWLR fans! Johnson McJohnson here, ready to spread some festive cheer!

Things might be slowing down as we reach the end of the year, but the OWLR team certainly hasn't! Like Santa's elves we've been working around the clock to make the following updates possible:

- We've untangled some bugs from tinsel to improve the Axis 1034's camera functionality.
- We've boxed up the DCS 5222 LB1's streaming issues with a bow on top.
- We've wrapped up inline alerts which can now link to in-app feedback and motion alert setup pages.

Like most of the world, Team OWLR has plenty of other things under the tree still to come and we can't wait to share them with you.

We wish you Happy Holidays, Merry Xmas, Happy Hanukkah, Boxing Day, Festivus and Kwanza and a Season full of Goodwill.

And as always, Happy Viewing!

Johnson McJohnson here - and yes, fast on the heels of our last update, we have yet another!

I know, I know - why another one?

Simply, we had a number of requests from the Overlords at One Infinite Loop request upgrades and improvements to keep with the religion that is iOS 11. That, along with an additional translation (Yea, Korean!), required yet another release.

So, all of us here at OWLR hope you are having a terrific Fall (and did not eat too much candy!) and we wish you a very Happy Viewing!
1.5.1 2017-10-19

-We fixed the snooze crash at server level.
-We have fixed wrong username or password issues.
-We added analytics for motion alerts and deep link flows.
-We have repositioned online alerts from the end of the list of cameras to position 2, as well as modified action buttons and colors.
-We added translations in French. Our French translation is brand new, and other languages will follow!
-We added support for Swift 3.2.
-We have disabled the simple password prompt for DCS-935L and DCS-2330L cameras that do not support password changes.

As always, send any problems you may encounter via the Feedback button in the application. We also pay attention to what you say positively too - so tell us what you like most, we listen.

You are the reason why we continue to improve OWLR.

So after all that, Happy Viewing!
1.5.0 2017-09-19
Johnson McJohnson here and happy to share some really good news!

I know, so close to the last release and we go ahead and do it again -- with a major surprise!

One of our goals has been to make a cleaner, faster and more capable app that could handle all of its features and scale rapidly as we learn more. Well, it has been no small feat -- our OWLR Team has worked incredibly hard since February and have done a COMPLETE OVERHAUL of ALL camera communications!

If we are right - and we have been testing for the past two months, you should see faster commands, less latency and finally fewer buggaboos (a very technical term from the folks down unda).

As always, please send any issues you may encounter via the Feedback button in the app. We also pay attention to what you say positively too - so tell us what you love the most, we are listening.

YOU are the reason we keep making OWLR better.

Aside from that, Happy Viewing!
1.4.0 2017-08-03
Johnson McJohnson here, and yes, we have been a bunch of busy people out here.

We do apologize for the silent treatment, but the boys in Africa have been slogging through some software archeology efforts to provide a new framework for expanding out features and performance. This release is simply a cleanup of a few bits and bobs in prep for the next release.

We addressed a number of bugs that were reported including intermittent PTT, flaky PTZ controls, Motion Alerts setup and some unusual issues on discovering cameras.

These and other improvements are simply preparing us for an expansion of the features in the app in the coming weeks. So, bang on with this version, and be sure to send any problems via the Feedback button within the app.

Aside from that, Happy Viewing!
1.3.0 2017-04-14

The team has been cleaning things up with removing some popups, fixing some issues on smaller screen sizes, yes, we are looking at you iPhone 4s users!

Remember, our team of happy gremlins are there to help you with your challenges - reach us via the Feedback button in the app.

As always - Happy Viewing!

And, as always, minor bug fixes and interface improvements have been included.
