Remember, to benefit from this update, you will need to allow the BBC Learning English app to send you notifications. We have a new section, 'Teachers', which features 'The Teachers' Room'. Top tip if you're a student: watch the series and get your teachers to use some of the ideas.
A new section called 'Teaching Children' - if you are a parent, a carer or someone who spends time with children, check out our animated children's stories and use them to help children learn English.
Our final section is one many of you have asked for – 'Learn with drama'. That's right, over the next few months, we are bringing all of our BBC Learning English dramas to the app – we have some of the best stories and plays from writers like Shakespeare, Jules Verne, Oscar Wilde and Mary Shelley. And we're launching this section in late November 2019 with, appropriately, Charles Dickens's 'A Christmas Carol'.

In this release we have added the ability to turn subtitles on when you are watching some of our videos - you will see the 'S' icon when they are available. To help you improve your English, try to watch the video once without subtitles then watch again with the subtitles. Enjoy!
