About bdBongos
Big Daddy' O Bongos (bdBongos) simulates "slapping the skins", or to translate for those of you from Squaresville, "playing the bongos." This application was designed for the Twenty-first Century Beatnik. There are basically two tones that can be made on the each bongo drum, the small drum and the large drum. Touching the center of the drum produces one tone and touching the outer edge of the drum produces another. Perfect for an impromptu "jam session" or a poetry reading at the coffee house. You can also select a song from your playlist, then return to the iPhone or iPod Touch main screen and launch bdBongos and play along with the "Swinging Cats." Like, Wow!, man.
Touching the "Information" button reveals copyright information as well as an original piece of music, composed and arranged by Keith Graden Greene.

This version corrects for an error that occurred when the app was transferred to iTunes (the main screen was black instead of showing the bongos. Everything else new in Version 3.5 is available:
The newest version of Big Daddy'O Bongos (bdBongos) has better, more realistic bongo tones. The brush tone now is achieved by dragging the finger from the outer edge of the drum across to the opposite drum without lifting your finger from the screen. This new approach corrects for having the brush tone interfere with the bongos other tones. Also new to Version 3.5 is the "Music" and "Play / Pause" buttons. Now you can pick a song from your device's playlist from within the app. Simply tapping the "Music" button will give you a list of the songs on your device. Pick one or more song and press the "Done" button. You will then return to Big Daddy'O Bongos (bdBongos) were the music is ready to be play by tapping the "Play / Pause" button.

Version 2.4 includes added sound effects when the user touches and drags across the large bongo drum or the small bongo drum. This new sound effect simulates what happen when you brush the bongo drums.
Version 2.4 is also compatible for the iPad. While sitting cross-legged on the floor, launch the bdBongos app. Placing the iPad between your legs gives you the ultimate bongo simulator. Like Wow! Man!
