What’s New

• Real-time badges: Badges are now awarded at the time they’re earned rather than at the completion of the game. You asked for real-time feedback – and we’re happy to oblige!
• Non-expiring games: To improve the player experience and ensure that some players aren’t “shut out”, we’ve implemented a non-expiring game feature in the admin panel.
• Browser-based game play: We love apps as much as the next person, but some players prefer to play within the browser environment so we implemented the very same game experience at www.beacon-learning.com. Players can start playing in the mobile app and finish the game in the browser – or just play the whole game in the browser. The choice is yours!
• “New User” button added: Prominent “New User” button has been added to the game to improve user experience/new user registration process.
• Simplified registration: It can be frustrating to fill out a registration form when all you want to do is play so we removed several required fields from the registration form and made others optional to speed up the process of getting to the fun part.

Bug fixes

• Individual words are no longer cut off when browser is resized
• Resizing of icons in Game Summary Emails
• Edits to “Unsubscribe” language in Game Summary Emails
• Other general cosmetic bug fixes
