About Casual Checkers & Draughts
Checkers (Draughts) is a classic board game, that reminds childhood of most of us. The aim of the game is to capture all the opponent's pawns or to block their movement.

Draughts is a game known all over the world. The game rules vary from country to country. Our application provides as many as 15 different variants of Checkers.

Now access to rule settings is easier, both from app settings and during a match.
We've also changed Bad Draughts' rules. Now they are based on Brazilian checkers, but still backward capture is not allowed, and the captured king gets relegated to a regular pawn.

Zapomnij wszystkiego, czego się do tej pory nauczyłeś! W tej grze obaj gracze rozpoczynają z losowymi pionkami. Sprawiedliwie? Ani trochę! Jakby tego było mało, pozostałe reguły wybierane są losowo. Przeczytaj je lepiej dokładnie. Ta rozgrywka łatwa nie będzie, ale... powodzenia!
Aby sprawić, by złe warcaby były jeszcze bardziej ekscytujące, tylko zwykłe pionki mogą zostać zbite. Damki podczas bicia są degradowane i pozostają na planszy jako zwykłe pionki.

This release brings many improvements to graphics, user interface and AI engine.
In-game navigation menu improvements:
- the flag icon replaces rules' name written in text giving more space for control buttons on the right side. Once tapped, an overlay with rules' description appears.
- new activity indicator surrounding the flag icon. When AI is thinking, the indicator spins around.
- training mode: new icon for "revert move" button.
- training mode: moves suggestions now appear on user's request once "bulb" button is tapped.
- added more spacing around buttons to improve accessibility.
Graphics improvements:
- the pieces can now use a texture (disabled by default, use settings to turn it on).
Engine improvements:
- improved moves finding algorithm for Dameo, Turkish and other orthogonal-based rules. This should significantly improve AI precision and overall performance.
- improved Spanish and Portuguese rules - in these variants it is obligatory to perform a move that captures the most pieces, however if there are still multiple choices, the one capturing the most of the kings must be chosen.
Other:
- automatically display rules' description overlay once the game is started with custom or random rules.

This version introduces new Training mode. In this mode your AI opponent becomes your teacher who will guide you through the game, show endangered and capturable pieces and suggest moves. Whenever you make a mistake or want to try another strategy, you may undo any number of your moves. This mode is designed for learning purposes only and no scores are submitted to Game Center.
