* Refactored Module Installation and handling of Module errors.
* Updated security for the In-App Purchasing server communications.
* Multiple issues with Restoring In-App purchases on a new device.
* Other fixes for multiple In-App purchases, handling errors, and Accordance account authorization.

Changes
* Refactored Accordance Account processes:
* - logout / keychain management
* - authorization / creation.
* Images in a Tool will now be scaled down when the pane narrows instead of having the edge cut off.
* For the 'Single Tap for Details' option, improved determination of "white space". Previously, it was difficult to find a tap point to toggle the menu bars for various RTL Texts, Interlinear, verse layout cases, etc.


Miscellaneous Display Fixes
* Text section headings could be inserted before the wrong paragraph (e.g. Neh 1:1 LSB).
* Display of verses with poetic style.

Tool Image Layout Fixes
* An extra line break was inserted before an image if the pane was narrow.
* A centered image would be left justified if image display was set to very large.
* An image in a table would not respect center justification in some cases.

Interlinear Fixes
* Secondary pane Text would not properly recall Interlinear settings.
* Highlight style rendering issue when showing Interlinear.
* Allow Arabic and perhaps other texts with Strong’s number to be added to the Interlinear text.
* Verify that non-biblical corpuses such as Athenasius no longer appear in the Interlinear pull-down menu items.

Miscellaneous Fixes
* An issue that prevented newly installed Texts from being available for certain Settings choices (e.g. Settings > Instant Details > Source Texts)
* Custom URLs would not work properly with certain module names.
* If Accordance could not find a module when tapping a Custom URL then certain module characters were garbled in the error alert.

Easy Install Fixes
* Refactored processes:
* - handling account password changes
* - account logout / keychain management
* - account status / error alert handling.
* Reduced the cache lifetime for the owned items list.
* Atlas backgrounds were showing up in Easy Install.
* Improved Unicode username and password handling.
* Crash that could occur after changing passwords.

Miscellaneous Fixes
* Restored the key command shortcut for "Open Search" (Tab) on iOS15+.
* Possible iAccord Library corruption when moving modules to other folders.
* Improved Custom URL support for the '+' character when used for a space in scripture references searches (e.g. ReadingPlan app) and when used for a root word search.
* Certain views had navigation bars with transparent backgrounds (e.g. Account Settings, Help).
* The Account Info view layout was not properly constrained to the "safe area" on all devices.
* The Edit User Note view could have an odd background color.

What's New
* Version 3.4 is built with the same code base as Accordance v14 for the desktop and will support:

3.3.0 Features
• New Search Modes in Text Modules. Based on the loaded module, users can now choose Hebrew Literal, Flex, and Pericope Title searches.
• Added “Override Key Number Dictionaries” Amplify setting to Settings > Amplify. First row is a switch to override Key Number dictionaries that allows the user to specify the Tool for Greek and Hebrew Key Number amplification.
• Added Text Display options to Show/Hide Book Titles and Section Headings.
• Accordance will support all of the latest modules.
• Added option to Settings > Instant Details to also show Instant Details with a single tap on a word in a Text module.
• When this option is turned ON:
• The tap and hold Instant Details gesture is still supported.
• Tapping on a word will present Instant Details if available and update the blue cross highlighting selection rectangles.
• Tapping on a word without Instant Details available will update the grey selection rectangle (like footnotes, verse references, etc)
• Tap on a header bar, text whitespace, or Re-Tap on the selected word to toggle the interface.
• Will not change Instant Details behavior in Tools, User Modules, etc.

* Significant reorganization of the Settings views, added several new preferences, and now supports searching.
* Main Settings view.
- Added a new General settings page with many of the prior main page settings.
- Moved the Amplify and Copy preferences to their own sub-sections.

- Added setting to hide page numbers entirely in Tools, not just change their color.

* Export and Citation Settings
- Significantly expanded the Citation Settings options, with the vast majority of all citation customization from the desktop.
- Added new Export Settings view that includes a variety of preferences, including default font, color, URL style, etc.
- Added support for conditionally showing/hiding the optional Export options, such as the ‘Default Font’ option depending whether ‘Use Default Font’ is selected.

* User Notes Settings
- Moved the settings option ‘Create User Notes File’ to a button at the bottom of the User Notes library section.
- Moved the settings option Link to Dropbox to the General Sync section.
- The Notes Settings view will now hide the Editor settings as these options are global, not pane specific.
- Picture size in User Notes (also this adds support in the aA quick text settings)

* Changed all settings to act ‘live’, immediately causing their change, without the use of a ‘Save’ or ‘Cancel’ button.
* Dark Mode colors are now customizable and are saved to the preferences.
* Increased the size of the aA Display Settings view on iPads, since there is generally more space.

* Added support for searching all preferences:
- Search bar is accessible by pulling down on the main settings page.
- Selecting a search result navigates to that view, scrolling as needed, opening up parent hierarchy as needed.

* Initial Localization support was added for Localizer evaluation. French, Italian, and Spanish Localization support has been added.

Changes

* Added support for inserting ‘missing verses’, as Desktop does between panes, between the two linked panes of a Search view.
* Improved accuracy when moving text selection handles. Though the initial selection is still word-level, moving a handle is character level, for better precision when making selections. This was needed, for instance, when selecting words in Korean like 아내가 that are actually a combination of a word 아내 (wife) and a suffix (가).
* Added support for Right Justified Instant Details rendering, following desktop logic.
* Renamed ‘Leading’ to ‘Line Spacing’ for clarity and to match desktop.
* Changed the pane splitter, when panes are horizontal and on iPad, to extend fully to top and bottom edges. While this may overlap slightly on old OS’s, it still looks reasonable, and looks far better on modern iOS.
* Improved the rendering of the edges of the secondary pane background color. This is apparent when the two panes have different background colors.

* For iOS 13.0+ devices, changed all font selection to use the new system font picker. This has the following advantages:
- Includes all user-installed fonts.
- Supports choosing family name and faces easily.
- Is a consistent UI experience.
* Added support for changing the fonts used throughout the User Interface. Changed the “Original Language Fonts” section of the Settings to just “Fonts”, with a new section “User Interface”.
* Added support for showing the relevant syntax tags in the Tags list, below the grammatical tags.
* Texts and Notes are not limited to the same corpus when in a secondary pane.
* Returning from a Picture view now updates the Tool to the current picture location. This is done by scrolling to the current location, rather than the cached original.
* Updated the Picture caption view and button’s logic to be clearer and fix multiple issues. In general the view should work as expected now: Tap the button to toggle between min/max, can also pan it, text is scrollable inside.
* The picture now sizes itself to the safe area, to not get in the way of iPhoneX style interface.
* User Notes pictures are now able to cycle to adjacent pictures.
* Added improved management of the keyboard frame. Now Accordance will shift up the Instant Details views so that the keyboard will not go under it. A keyboard may be visible alongside Instant Details in the case of Split Apps.
* Added support for displaying the alt verse reference Text for scripture lookup in User Notes’ external scripture links, and in Papers.
* Added new key commands:
- Ctrl-Shift-X: Toggle visibility of secondary pane.

* Changed interface fonts throughout for a fresh, modern look.
* The navigation bar and toolbars are now system themed. This fixes day/night transitions and confirms a consistent look when combined with the status bar.
* The top and bottom toolbar now stays a default gray, rather than tinting to the pane.
* Adjusted panes to display more real estate, bringing 25 pixels more reading area per pane.
* Added a preference for whether or not pages go under the top and bottom toolbars (for maximum screen space) or not (for readability while interface is visible).

Instant Details Improvements
* A simple tap on a footnote or verse reference in a Text view will now display Instant Details (instead of a long tap).
* Tappable Instant Details links that open a new amplified view containing the selected verses, article, or search.
* Visual upgrades when drawing text, dividers, and secondary module information.
* For Tool and User Notes Instant Details, if the alternate hypertext is different from the primary, and both can display the verse, Accordance will show both in the Instant Details.
* Added a new action ‘Context’ when tapping on verse links in a Tool or Tool pane, which shows the verse(s) in context.
* The amplify action (to Tools) and amplify/context action (to Texts) will now update the contents of the other pane, if the panes are unlinked and the module is correct. This is particularly helpful to view references/lookups without losing the current place.

Searching Improvements
* Added ability to use the TEXT command.
* Cross highlighting between open panes. Cross Highlighting is updated when tap and holding on words to start a selection.
* Added ability to triple-tap on text, working like the desktop triple click on a word. This also supports modifier keys, if relevant.

iPad Support
* Added support for better interactions with iPadOS and a magic trackpad on iOS 13.4+. Details:
* Added Cross Highlighting during hover when using iPadOS Trackpad.
* Added the Font and Link icons to the top right side of the edit text keyboard on an iPad.



Changes

* Page Turning now support multiple columns of text for wider panes.
* Added support for displaying any Tool in a search secondary pane, not just Reference Tools. These Tools obviously never scroll together, and cannot be directly searched, but do have a Table of Contents for navigation. They are also able to receive an Amplify action from the Instant Details of the primary pane.
* Improved the Parallel Tool selector to include a section header for both the ‘Current Folder’ and ‘All Tools’ sections. Now the Current Folder header includes a ‘Hide’ option for quick access to other tool folders, needed if there are many items in that folder.
* Added improved two-finger swipe or tap-swipe back to return from an amplified view
* Restored ability for iOS 13+ users to choose their day/night theme.
* Improved accuracy when tapping on a footnote to prevent the end of a line before a footnote from counting as a footnote.

- Added back a force reset of page turning cells when toggling the toolbar, so they are correctly rebuilt instead of simply reflowed.
- Hang when in landscape and closing a secondary page turning pane.
- When showing or hiding the secondary pane, the splitter position would not account for the proper toolbar height.
- Improved the animation when showing/hiding the secondary pane.
- Restored call to ensure the secondary pane is reset and at its verse index when being shown.
* Initial launch case when the splitter was in the wrong location.

Changes
* Added 3D Touch to every location where long press gestures are currently supported (e.g. the Library button, the Goto grid buttons, the Active Highlight button).
* Taptic/Haptic Feedback Support:
- For iPhone 6s devices, which have the Taptic Engine, vibrations are generated through the system.
- Newer devices will support Haptic Feedback if available. Currently, feedback is generated for notification events (successes, failures, and warnings).
* Active Highlighting Interaction:
- To prevent accidental changes to the Active Highlighting mode, the tap and long/deep press functions have been switched.
- Now a tap on the button will display a menu of recently used highlight styles and a long/deep press is now required to change the Active Highlighting mode.
- Enhanced the ability to bring up Instant Details with Active Highlighting turned on.
* Added basic key command functionality to the User Notes editor. Currently supporting cut (cmd-x), copy (cmd-c), and paste (cmd-v), but more could be added in the future if need arises.
* Added support for scrolling to adjacent pages using the left and right arrow keys of a connected keyboard.
* Added the ability to switch Text and Tool modules when a search is currently active:
- For Texts, if a verse search is active, the Text List only shows Texts containing at least some of those verses.
- For Texts, if a word search is active, it tries to rerun the current search. If that fails, it shows all Text.
- For Tools, it attempts to maintain the current field, if possible (setting to the first field if not). It will then attempt the search, and if that fails, it will show all Text.
* Changed the Today Extension Daily Reading to use the same Morning/Evening distinction that normal Daily Readings use, now using morning as Midnight-Noon, rather than 5AM - 5PM.
* Changed the name of ‘About this Text’ to ‘About “Module”’

What's New
*New Today extension:
- Available on devices running iOS 10 and above.
- Daily Reading - Resource cover image and text snippet. If a Daily Reading resource is not installed then the extension will help to download the resource with Easy Install. (Tapping on the view will open to Easy Install)
- Recent modules - Up to two rows of recent modules, presented in a collection of covers with name captions. Tapping on the cover will open the app to that resource and its most recent saved state.

*Home screen shortcut actions:
- Available on iPhones that support 3D Touch (iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max)
- Will reportedly be available on all iPhones and iPads in iOS v13 with a new long press gesture.
- The options are to:
- Open the default search Text with the search entry box being presented and made active.
- Open the default search Text with a presentation of the Verse Chooser view.
- Open the Library
- Open the Store
- Share Accordance / (TestFlight) Beta feedback

*iOS 13 Dark Mode support:
- Accordance will use the system wide setting to set the Light/Dark interface.
- If iOS 13+ is detected then the ability to set Light/Dark mode is removed from Accordance settings.
- Updated EULA view for Dark mode.

* Pane orientation issues when Accordance was opened in a Split-View or Slide-Over on iPads.
