Thank you for using BigRig ELD! We’re committed to bringing you the best experience with each update.
Updates:
- Downloaded documents now automatically clear on driver or co-driver logout, ensuring each login fetches only user-specific files. This prevents outdated file access, maintains data accuracy, and improves secure document handling across sessions.
- Drivers in Canada North are now exempt from daily driving limits, with only shift-based rules applied, ensuring ELD compliance with regional regulations.
- Drivers can now view and download ELD-related documents and manuals directly from the app under Settings > Resources, providing easy access to important resources for compliance and reference.

Improvements:
• We've added support for displaying and switching between miles and kilometers for odometer offset in the Equipment Settings. This ensures consistency across regions like the US and Canada and provides flexibility based on your fleet's preferences.
• We've added support to display the ELD Certification ID in the Certify Logs PDF and
Data Transfer reports for both the USA and Canada cycles, ensuring clear regulatory
Compliance.
• Drivers can now certify multiple consecutive off-duty or sleeper logs in one action, simplifying compliance after extended breaks.
• We've improved how recalculations are handled after an operating zone change to ensure accurate HOS compliance and avoid incorrect violations.
Bug Fixes:
• We’ve fixed an issue where violations disappeared or changed incorrectly on the Logs screen after a driver switched cycles (e.g., from Canada to USA) and navigated between the Dashboard and Logs. Violations now remain accurate and consistent after cycle changes.
• We've fixed an issue on the DVIR screen where the item count did not update consistently after marking inspection items as Pass, Fail, or N/A. The item count now updates in real time to correctly reflect progress through the inspection checklist.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the first photo attached to a DVIR item did not immediately display in the app. The attachment now appears as expected on the first attempt, without requiring multiple uploads or screen refreshes.
• We’ve fixed an issue where equipment and trailer names were missing from DVIR completion events in the Logs screen. Pre- and Post-Trip DVIRs will now correctly record and display the associated equipment/trailer name for better traceability and compliance.
• We’ve fixed an issue where editing and certifying a previous day’s log did not properly uncertify subsequent logs in the cycle. Now, when a log is edited, all affected logs from that date through the current day will be uncertified, and drivers will be required to recertify them to maintain compliance.
• We’ve fixed an issue where events could not be deleted from the Logs page. Drivers can now successfully remove events when using the delete option.
• Fixed an issue where drivers were unable to certify remaining logs from the Uncertified Logs screen if previous logs were already certified. Drivers can now certify any uncertified log without needing to un-certify or reopen the screen.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the driver’s name in the DVIR PDF signature field on the portal was incorrectly replaced by the mechanic’s name when both performed inspections on the same vehicle. The PDF now correctly preserves and displays the respective inspector’s name.
• Fixed an issue where a blank screen was briefly displayed after certifying all logs from the Uncertified Logs screen. The app now smoothly transitions to the HOS dashboard without showing a blank screen.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the app crashed after changing the operating zone (USA to Canada) and navigating to the Logs page. The Logs screen now opens reliably without interruptions after an operating zone change.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the DVIR text on the Roadside Inspection screen was always shown in English when the app language was set to French. It will now correctly display as “RDS” in French for consistency and proper localization.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the Repair Status on the DVIR Summary screen was not fully translated in French and Spanish. The statuses are now correctly translated.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the month on the Pending Edit Request dialog was not translated into French and Spanish. It now displays correctly in the selected language.
