The International Seminar on Planetary Coexistence: Build Biocivilization, is a proposal from the Association IMAGO with the release of 2016 will come to its 4th edition.

The seminar aims to be a place of encounter, dialogue and reflection on the new model of planetary coexistence that advocates a new paradigm, a model of coexistence biocivilizatorio based on respect for life in all its manifestations. In this sense, the seminar is part and is indebted to the ideas and works that develop across the planet.

The seminar is presented as an outreach activity aimed at the general public. With the presence of prominent and renowned figures aim to ensure high attendance and the presence of the initiative (and ideas that drive) in the media to reach beyond usually this kind of activity people.

The seminar also aims to be a space for creating synergies between different initiatives developed in Catalonia in this field, placing them in contact with each other, with interested citizens and international actors and thinkers from different locations and movements working in the same address. So the constructions from different local Catalan specialties are being made in favor of this global change, strengthening links with networks and global scenarios in which he is also producing this construction will be collected.

The presence of specialized local organizations working in these specific areas also seeks to promote the effective engagement of sensitized citizens, providing spaces where do real and concrete commitment, spaces where act for the planet as people, citizens / os, workers / es and consumers / it is.

This approach to the activities we have been already developed in previous editions of the conference, in which we have greatly expanded the list of local entities such collaborating in the project, and the experience is proving very interesting and enriching, as reflections combine global character with character concrete initiatives are carried out in our country and give tangible content to the message of our awareness project.

The 4th International Seminar proposes the construction of the new paradigm of global coexistence from the 3 axes or fundamental questions raised by the Seminar: Roads and descaminos for biocivilization organized by IBASE (Brazil), nuanced a bit and that will be to structure the 3 sessions of the seminar:

What values ??or virtues? (Ethics) - Day 1
What economic model? (Economy) - Day 2
What power structures, how global governance? (Policy) - Day 3

For each of the three sessions of the seminar organized a work table and another table of dialogue in which participate experiences and reflections.

Worktable: In addition to the afternoon sessions open to the public, the seminar will organize other sessions closed to allow dynamic advance coordination between the groups and individuals involved.

Dialogue table: The table begins his work with an initial conference, then this space to an international speaker will be invited to present a framework document giving rise to a dialogue with the other participants of the table and with the public. Then different citizens' initiatives and organizations that are already working on concrete proposals and concrete actions, to finally open up the space to interventions and dialogue with the public will be presented.
