We are excited to announce our new name... BroadLoop!

We started off helping asphalt contractors request and track dump trucks, but now we do SO much more. Learn more about our new name here:

The feedback we received from early customers directly influenced the broad set of features we now offer and allowed us to outgrow the name BlackTop. Besides the name, though, nothing else is changing about the software or the direction we're headed as a company. We are the same team who is passionate about helping you drive down your virtual fleet costs and increase profitability.

This mobile release addresses some very minor requests we've received such as increasing the font size on the notes page, but the primary reason for the new version is to update our name/logo to BroadLoop.

Thank you to our existing customers who have helped us grow into this new name. And we look forward to helping many more companies with eTickets, fleet management, dispatch, logistics, asset tracking and more.

The latest version of BlackTop introduces a new option for larger organizations to allow their drivers to log-in using an organization ID instead of the driver's phone number. This makes for a better authentication experience for the drivers and easier user management for dispatchers/administrators.

The latest version of BlackTop centers on appearance/styling for iPads. This includes design improvements like larger font, more intuitive access to common features and a better use of a larger screen. More and more customers are requesting tablets in the cab of their trucks/vehicles so we're making sure the experience for the drivers is as easy as possible.

The latest version of BlackTop includes many improvements and new features.

A new calendar picker is available to easily look at routes assigned for both today or any day in the future. From the main list of routes, tap on the date in the center of the screen to see the new calendar view. If routes are assigned to you, you'll see a dot on that date.

We addressed a few usability items as well to make BlackTop even easier to use:
- Moved the Driver Tag to the top right corner
- Cleaned up route details to make sure it's as easy as possible to see dispatch instructions
- Reworked the Timesheet, Track Now & Status cards on the main routes list screen
- Added a new refresh button on the route details page

Now that we offer physical GPS devices (portable or plug-and-play), the mobile app has the ability to behave like a companion app instead of the primary GPS tracker. This means you can still see your dispatch instructions and hit START, but the GPS coordinates come from our GPS device, not your phone.

The latest version of BlackTop includes a number of changes that we're share:
- Users with the foreman role can now access driver detail information by tapping on driver icons on the map or tapping on the informational cards in the list of assigned drivers.
- Users with the dispatcher role now have access to new Dashboard and View My Fleet screens
- Updated visual theme throughout the entire application
