With Bluetooth LE Terminal you can easily prototype your Bluetooth Smart enabled hardware. Send individual bytes encoded as ASCII, HEX or Decimal numbers and receive data from your hardware accessory.
Test your data transfers even before having your own app!

• Send bytes as ASCII, HEX or Decimal
• See device's services and characteristics and their associated values
• Get information about your device such as name, UUID, and RSSI readings
• Setup a button matrix (game controller) to send different data with just a tap.
• Apple Watch support for button matrix
• Send the current time as a unix timestamp (seconds since 1970)
• Export current session as CSV
• Use the app in split-view or slide-over on iPad

Thank you for using Bluetooth Terminal!
In this update I implemented:
• a proper feedback form to submit bugs or request right from the app
• an option to name the terminal export CSVs
• an option to export the device scheme (Name, Services, Characteristics) as a JSON file
• an option to render unprintable ASCII characters as an outlined box
• an option to display the characteristic value as an array of UInt8
• an option to tip me (buy a coffee for me) to support me maintaining the app
• RSSI colors in device overview
• the selection of data types to display now is saved globally
• some minor UI adjustments
I fixed some bugs:
• cutting off new line characters at the end of device names
• alignment of text in FAQ view
• sometimes connecting to a device did not work
If you like using the app I very much appreciate a review on the App Store and a tip from inside the app to help me maintain the app further!

• The last accessory you connected to will appear on top of the list if still available.
• You can now search for discovered accessories.
• Characteristics are now marked with R/W to indicate if they are readable and writeable.
• You can now write data to devices that don't support 'writing with response'. If the device supports both writing modes, you can choose which to use.
• UI cleanup throughout the app.
Please contact me if you encounter any problems, and if you like the app consider rating it. This helps me as an independent developer a lot!

Major Design Update:
• In this update we overhauled the whole app experience. You now get to the Connect Screen at first instead to the Send Screen. The User Experience should be more intuitive now.
• We also updated the design to support iOS 11.
