BoatSpeed 1.6 includes:
Apple Watch
• BoatSpeed is ready for Apple Watch Series 5. Your current heading is now shown on your watch in addition to your current, max, and average speed. Swipe left on the current heading to switch between current heading and location.
Automatic Night Mode
• BoatSpeed can now automatically switch themes based on your iPhone's settings.
BoatSpeed 1.5 includes:
Bearing Compass
• BoatSpeed now features a bearing compass. Tap the compass button in the bottom right of the screen to check it out. Tap anywhere on the compass to set your bearing. As you move, the deviation from your bearing will be shown in red. Tap the compass again to clear the bearing. Use the speed and compass buttons to quickly switch modes.
Speed Chart
• BoatSpeed now charts your speed to show the flow of your voyage. Swipe to the right on the location and heading section to show the chart. You can pause the chart and scroll back through your history using the pause button.
Average Speed
• BoatSpeed now displays your average speed. Swipe to the right on the location and heading section to check it out. The average is reset with the reset button in the top right corner.

• Every release of BoatSpeed comes with a bunch of bug fixes and performance and accuracy improvements.
