Hey,
In this update we begin transitioning our app to serve content online first. We’ve thought about it a lot and we feel that this is a step in the right direction considering our goal of delivering the latest, most relevant content to you. Here’s what you can expect in this update:
- Playlists now online first, this is to address a recurring issue that has been reported to us where outdated content stays in the app even after promos and campaigns. Our playlist content will now always get the latest version, this now requires an internet connection.
- Offers and redemptions are also online first, an Internet connection will be required to scan QR codes and avail of partner offers in the app. This is to ensure the quality of experience you get when redeeming with our partners. Table bookings will still default to SMS when offline for now.
We know that a lot of people like that our app doesn’t require internet, but we have some exciting things coming up that we think is worth this change. Until then we’re still Booky - Works Offline :)

- Popular? I know about popular. Top Picks curates the best and trending around the area. What’s that? We really don’t have to do that? We know, that’s what makes us so nice.
- Send me your location, let’s focus on communicatin’ cause we’ve improved location access and permission requests.
- Updated our Privacy Policy, because we don’t want anyone to go to jail.

- View nearby and related offers while viewing or claiming offers
On top of that we've added a number that shows you how many branches you can claim a specific offer at! We know some of you are very particular about the exact number of places you can claim milk tea at ;)
- Displays number of branches in Brand Offers page
