About Cahiers d'Artistes
The Cahier d'Artistes app allows an extensive reading of Martina-Sofie Wilberger's publication. In order to experiment with innovative publication formats, we have used augmented reality to extend the experience of the publication. This app recognizes every page of the publication and automatically plays supplementary contents.
With its Collection Cahiers d’Artistes, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia enables aspiring artists the publication of an initial monograph to their name. This series enables Pro Helvetia to publicise trends in the contemporary Swiss arts scene both at home and abroad.
The monographs are designed by Bonbon, Zurich in close cooperation with the artists themselves. For the artists, this represents a unique opportunity to make their work – underscored with a text of a renowned art critic – better known to the international art scene.
The Cahiers d’Artistes series was launched by the Swiss Arts Council in 1984 and has been published by Edizioni Periferia since 2006. For more than 30 years, no fewer than 150 publications have been published since the launch of the project. The online platform cahiers.ch provides all the monographs published to date in digitised form.
The app was designed by Bonbon and coded by Tibor Udvari.
