Version 4.50
Minor updates for the latest iOS.
Version 4.40
This is a major free update with a new plotting frameworks with over 30 new plots for easy plotting of expressions and data to communicate information clearly and efficiently.
A new Expression calculator includes keys for “1 tap” plotting of the current expression, 1 to 5 stored expressions, expression with shading, and parameter plotting. The plotting is combined with keys to solve, integrate, calculate max, min, calculate where 2 expressions are equal and dydx to help you analyze expressions.
Copy, paste, plot!
Copy data to the clipboard, paste it into the List Manager. Then with 1 tap create histograms, box plots, normal probability plots, scatter diagrams and more.
The updated 1 List Statistics calculator will plot histograms or 1-5 box plots from list data. It also has new keys for 1 tap calculation of summary stats, percentile, inverse percentile and sorting.
New Normal and Student’s t Distribution calculators feature z/t tests and intervals from calculated or entered data. Tests can be plotted as well as lower tail, upper tail, two tail or central PDF plots. There is a key to plot a normal probability plot of the data and another to create lists of random normally distributed values from the entered mean, standard deviation and n values.
The updated 2 List Statistics calculator will plot list data.
The curve fitting calculators will plot scatter plots with the the best fit lines by simply pressing the “plot” key.
The plots use Apple System Colors that automatically adapt to both light and dark modes, vibrancy and changes in accessibility settings like increased contrast.
To help the entry and managing of data, lists of data can be stored and recalled with the standard STO/RCL keys. Each calculator that uses lists of data now has 5 keys to STO and RCL the lists that are unique to that calculator. In addition, there are 8 lists that are shared between calculators.
Lists and other data can be viewed and edited in the new Data Manager.
Now CALC 1 can open text files containing data for analysis. From the Apple Files app, files can be opened by CALC 1. Then the file can be viewed and edited in the Data Manager and then parsed and copied to the CALC 1 statistics lists for quick and accurate entry of data!
Data can be manually entered, pasted from the clipboard using the List Manager, imported from a text/csv file (or AirDrop) into the Data Manager or dictated into the Data Manager. Getting data entered quickly and accurately is important and CALC 1 has the tools for the job!

4.15

13 new probability Function Calculators for a total of 25!
Discrete distributions: Binomial, Geometric, Negative Binomial, Hypergeometric, Poisson.
Continuous distributions: Normal, Exponential, Gamma, Weibull, Log Normal, Beta, Chi-Squared, T-Distribution, F-Distribution.
Many of the CDF calculators will also calculate the inverse with solving.
A new Triangles Focused Calculator to calculate the solution of plane triangles. Enter 3 of the 6 main characteristics and this calculator will calculate the remaining characteristics.
We updated the CALC 1 TVM Focused Calculators with STO/RCL of all of the TVM values (N, I/YR, PV, PMT, FV, P/YR, C/YR, PER1, PER2 BEG/END) at once! Now you can STO different initial values or quickly switch between different scenarios.
This STO/RCL “object” feature has also been added to the Ratios and Triangles Focused Calculators.
We enhanced the status annunciators to display all the values not shown on the key previews. So instead of just BEG mode the P/YR, PER1 PER2 are displayed.
Each status annunciator is specific to the Focused Calculator so, for example, BEG, P/YR are only shown on the financial calculators that use them and DEG is only shown on calculators with trigonometry functions.
A Function Calculator “Duplicate” command has been added to allow existing calculators to be duplicated in order to customize them.
For version 4.15: The results of the History Item when solving for a Function Calculator parameter has been changed to the value of the parameter.
