About Call to Order

CalltoOrder is a meeting app to provide simple but secure access to meeting agendas, documents, and reference materials natively on an iPad. Gone are the days of hardcopy meeting books that took weeks to create, copy and distribute.

Meeting materials are assembled by an administrative web interface and securely uploaded to the NISC Cloud. Users then download the documents to the iPad prior to the meeting. Got a last minute change to your agenda? No worries. Hit the refresh button to display the latest revisions!

Documents reside on the iPad until you decide to delete them, but they are always kept in the NISC Cloud for future download/reference.

Key Features of CalltoOrder:
•Simple Meeting Interface: Easily review the flow of the meeting while accessing relevant documentation with the tap of a finger.
•Configurable: Skin the app to match the look and feel of your organization.
•Plenty of Space: Add up to two additional sections for reference materials such as policies, legal documents, contact information, travel documents, etc. Thanks to the cloud, you can securely store anything you need and pull it down as you need it.
•Notes: Add comments to a document for reference. Notes are saved privately for the user and stay in place till the meeting is deleted from the iPad.

With version 2.0.0, the advanced PDF viewer did not consider the Show Share Button option from the site's administration settings. Changed to check this option and remove the email and print buttons from the share dialog, if appropriate. The share button will still display, but only with the Go to Page, Bookmark and Copy buttons.

The issue of the app crashing when changing the annotation text font or size using the Inspector has been fixed.

For the basic PDF viewer, changed to remain in CTO when a bookmark link is tapped instead for passing to the browser.
2.0.0
Jul 15, 2016
An advanced PDF viewer has been added to CalltoOrder providing an array of annotation features. These new tools will allow users to highlight or mark documents in a variety of ways, add text boxes in specific locations on the document, search for specific text, and move to a specific page.

A new option has been added to the Settings tab to turn this feature on allowing for flexibility in how PDFs are viewed. When this option is off, the basic PDF viewer is used as in past versions of CalltoOrder.

When a link in the PDF is tapped, Safari will be opened instead of staying within CalltoOrder. This provides a more robust browser experience than staying within the embedded web viewer in CalltoOrder. Also with iOS9, navigation from Safari back to CalltoOrder is more seamless with a single tap.

1. Multiple sites may now be managed on the Settings tab. This ability allows the user to easily configure and switch between sites. This is useful if a user is a member of multiple organizations using CalltoOrder.

2. An Edit button has been added to minimize accidental changes on the Settings tab. In order to make a change to a site’s settings you must tap the Edit button first.

3. Added the ability on the Settings tab to get the latest configuration for a site without having to enter the user’s password.

4. Added the ability to display a share button on the navigation bar with the appropriate options for the document type, i.e. email and print. This will allow the displayed document to be emailed and/or printed. These are standard iOS 6 options and the built-in iOS logic for finding the appropriate email account and AirPrint enabled printer is used. The Show Share Button checkbox must be checked within Edit Configuration of the CalltoOrder Admin website in order for the button to display in the app.

5. Changed to use the tab’s path, if available, when getting the associated topics from the Cooperative Cloud. This corresponds with changes to CalltoOrder Admin to allow a tab name to be changed without losing track of its content.

6. Changed to not add the swipe gestures if iOS 5 for viewing a document in full landscape as the gestures do not work properly prior to iOS 6. The toggle button will be used instead.
1.1
Mar 14, 2013
-Added the ability to hide the left menu so the document may be viewed in full landscape. The menu may be hidden/shown via the toggle button on the navigation bar or by using swipe left/right gestures in the document view.

-Added the ability to cancel the download of the documents which may be used if a refresh was inadvertently started or there is a network connectivity issue.

-Added the ability to swipe delete the associated file on the left menu. This may be used to delete a file that you no longer want on your iPad, but it will remain on the NISC Cloud. You may refresh to download the file.

-Improved the automatic refresh of each tab when the settings are changed.

-Minor bug fixes.
