The search function in the iPhone's / iPad's standard calendar app only searches for calendar entries up to a maximum of 1 year back.
CalSearch fixes this and searches the various calendars of the iPhone for any search term, even more than 1 year back. The search period and the calendars to be searched are configurable.

The following innovations await you in version 2.2:
- iPad users can now display the results as tiles. Switching the display is done via the table/tile icon in the menu bar.
- The display of results in the tabular view has been slightly improved.
- A warning now appears if too many search results are found by the search. For performance reasons, only the first 100 results are displayed.

Version 2 brings some innovations. The app has been completely revised and rewritten. Stability and performance have been improved
In addition to the familiar functions, new ones have been added:
- The search period can now be set in the app settings.
- The search results can now be grouped and also sorted in descending order, this can be set in the settings.
- The app can now be used in landscape format on the iPad.
- In the detailed view, it is optionally possible to edit the event; this can be set in the settings.
- The colouring of the results can be deactivated if desired.
