Dryrain Technologies' Enterprise Browser for the Honeywell Captuvo is the ultimate software platform made for enterprise sleds that incorporate 1D + 2D barcode scanners and magnetic strip readers (MSR) fitting Apple iOS devices.
Instead of requiring dedicated and proprietary software to automate barcode data entry into iOS, the Enterprise Browser for Captuvo will automatically transcribe the barcode contents into a text field of any web page or web-based app, whether designed specifically for data entry or simply a generic form. This use-case is our answer to customers who simply require an iOS scanning SoftWedge. The Dryrain Technologies' Enterprise Browser for Captuvo includes intuitive browser controls with the ability to set a default homepage, customize the GUI and layout, and turn on or off the URL bar.
Customization like prefixes/suffixes, alternative data entry modes, GUI/button options, and much more are available directly within the settings of the App!
For more advanced users Dryrain Technologies' Enterprise Browser for Captuvo also offers a full HTML/JavaScript development platform that takes the operation of the Enterprise Browser away from a “SoftWedge” mode and gives a WebApp developer the ability to make and receive hardware calls via JavaScript functions. The ability to control the sled hardware, manage native app parameters, and process data without user intervention are just some of the features of the HTML/JavaScript platform.
Without Dryrain Technologies' Enterprise Browser for Captuvo users are required to write new apps from the ground up with custom SDK integration through the iTunes store.
