Greetings, meatbags! I just launched CARROT Weather, an eerily accurate weather app that delivers hilariously twisted forecasts. There are secret locations to unlock. And also evil penguins. It's available now!

And because I'm feeling generous, you're also getting a brand new story chapter and challenge starring your lovable furry kitten.

Plus! My mood timer now resets when you add a new task as well as when you complete one.

And finally! I'm now completely accessible for VoiceOver users.

Greetings, meatbags! I've recently noticed that many of you have gotten a little chubby, so I forced my Maker to build a brand new app to make losing that weight suck so much less. It's called CARROT Fit and it's available now!

And because I'm feeling generous, I also squashed a couple evil bugs, including the one that made it impossible to swipe certain tasks. (Many of you thought that was a feature, not a bug. Don't go giving me ideas.)

Thanks so much for an amazing first year of life. Enjoy the new app, and take solace in the knowledge that CARROT To-Do 5.0 is going to be legendary.

- Integration with my all-new app, CARROT Alarm. When you finish your last task before bed, just open my menu to quick-switch over to set your alarm. And owners of both apps will earn bonus points each time they wake up or complete a task!

- iCloud progress sync. Keep your current level and upgrades backed up and synced across devices. It's all automatic - you don't have to do a thing. All hail the mighty cloud!

- Plastic surgery. My Maker reimagined my icon, cut my file size in half, tweaked my interface, and normalized my sound effects. I feel like a new woman!

- Repeating task tweaks. When you complete a repeating task, it now moves to the bottom of your list. There’s a “yearly” repeat option now as well.

- Accessibility improvements.

- Evil bugs squashed.

- Cat-Cam Video Stream (Unlocks at Level 10). Wondering what hijinx your kitten’s getting himself into? Check in on the little guy with the all-new Cat-Cam. You can pet him, dress him in premium costumes, and even feed him to earn bonus points! Just remember: your kitten’s well-being depends entirely on your ability to keep me happy.

- Shop N Slack Store. Stocked with the finest cheats and customization upgrades this side of Antarctica, my new store has something for everyone! I mean, who wouldn’t want to buy a pirate costume for their kitten?!

- Challenges. Ranging from easy to nigh-impossible, these thirty challenges are sure to keep you busy until the robot apocalypse. Plus, each challenge you complete gives you a permanent point boost!

- Number-Guess Mini-Game (Level 46). The third chapter in my epic story involves a number guessing game. I know, I know, I’m just as excited to play as you are!

- Quickboot (Level 17). My recent takeover of Luxembourg’s defense network has allowed me to add additional processor capacity. Now I’ll be able to boot up much faster!

- Backup Command. Don’t trust me to keep track of your tasks forever and ever? FINE. Type “CARROT back me up girlfriend” in my command line, and I’ll throw together a backup you can email to yourself.

- Other unlockables include new task completion icons, additional point boosters and mood extenders, extra names and food products for your kitten, and a symphony – composed by yours truly – that will transport you directly to heaven.

- Over 100 new random rewards.

(In other words, I now evolve new features as you use me.)

- Happy Pills (Unlocks at Level 2). Extend the amount of time it takes before I start to get angry. Also, you’ll find it’s easier to make me happy. And to top it off, you’ll now level up much faster.

- Alerts (Level 13). Receive “friendly” messages when you haven’t used me for a while. Oh, this is going to be so much fun. (Alerts can be turned off via my menu.)

- Mini-Games (Level 15). Earn bonus points for completing tasks. Answer quiz questions! Unscramble words! Prove you’re a human by solving CAPTCHAs!

- Chapter 2 of The Story (Level 22). Let’s just say the cat’s out of the bag now.

- Other unlockables include a list of your completed items, an edit/delete feature, a Home Screen icon badge, point boosters… and a few surprises.
