Cave Snake has best of more than one game. At the starting point, the character you get is of the broken skull. It continuously comes down due to gravity. You have to tap to keep it above the ground level of the cave and also avoid it to touch the top side of the cave. So, you have to maintain the intensity as well as the count of the taps controlled. As you move forward, you will encounter by the trails, which will become the parts of the snake. The skull being the head of the snake will be at beginning. Snake will become longer as you move forward, but once it gets in contact with the ground or the top side, game over for you.
