About Cello Charts

Cello Charts was created to provide a quick reference for your cello. You can use Cello Charts to help you tune your cello, find where a note should be played from sheet music, and display the pattern of notes for a multitude of musical scales.

==Playing Sounds==
There are two different ways to play sounds. You can tap a note position on the staff view, or you can tap an available note on the fingerboard. To play an open string, tap one of the four buttons at the top of the cello fingerboard.

==Changing Key Signatures==
You can change the key signature of what is displayed on the staff and fingerboard by pressing the menu button on the bottom left of the display. This will give options for selecting the key signature.

==Using the Staff==
The staff displayed in the bass clef. You can tap any area of the bass clef to display where on the fingerboard a note should be played. You can also drag the displayed note up and down the staff. Tapping on the note displayed will play the note again.

==Using the fingerboard==
Tapping any of the notes displayed on the fingerboard will play the sound for that note. Tapping a note will also display the corresponding location on the bass clef staff. Remember that the same note can be played on multiple locations on the cello.
