About Central Square
Central Square is a brain-teasing and fun game which is both entertaining and educational.
Forget everything you think you know about puzzle games, this one is unique and original.
Central Square’s intuitive gameplay fully exploits the swipe feature for faster and smoother control.
On a 5 by 5 square grid, you have to drag numbered blocks across empty spaces but watch out for the brown slots in the center of each side as these are not usable.
The objective of this game is to get rid of the smallest-numbered block marked in blue by positioning it on the black square in the center of the grid. Every time this process is done, a new block spawns with a number greater than all numbers remaining on the grid.
You start with three lives. Each life gives you a credit of ten steps (or swaps).
• If you spend all your credit before eliminating the lowest-numbered block, you lose a life.
• Once you’ve successfully eliminated a block, your credit is reset to 10.
• Every time a block is eliminated, your number of remaining steps is added to your score.
• If you manage to successfully eliminate 10 blocks in a row, you’re rewarded an extra life.
• Game is over once you’ve run out of lives.
