Meet the new Task View Dialog!
From now on, when you tap on a task, you will see its data and parameters in an informative and functional view. It both looks great and provides some neat features:
1) Task name and memo get placed together in a “Title + Subtitle” style, which makes task memos much more convenient and useful.
2) You can easily tap on any link. It is just awesome using tasks with supplementary links now.
3) If you tap on a task’s project or context name you will navigate to the corresponding task list. This is quite useful when you want to see other tasks that are placed in the same project as the task you are previewing at the moment.
4) Any task can be converted to a project. You will find this feature at the bottom of the dialog, under the “Export to calendar” button.
We’ve also optimised the Tack Create/Edit Dialog, so it opens faster.

1. With this update we completely reworked the “New Task” dialog structure. From now on, instead of one long list of parameters, it consists of 4 tabs: General, Metadata, Reminders and Memo. Such dialog architecture is more clear, simple to use and has huge potential for further improvements and adding new features like attachments, multiple contexts and notes in upcoming releases. Also, it should be more clear now how to add reminders. A whole new tab for this functionality will allow us to expand it in future as well.
2. In previous versions of Chaos Control you could only see tasks in context lists. From now on the app will show you projects there as well. In combination with the “Favorites” menu it is a powerful way to organize your projects and single tasks together, in convenient way.
3. We tweaked our Siri integration and from now on it should be easier to capture thoughts and tasks into Chaos Box using voice. Please make sure to enable the feature in the Settings menu of the app and start experimenting. Also note that you can see any tasks list from Siri using the “Siri Shortcuts” feature. Use the “Add to Siri” command in the task list menu to do that.
Plus, we’ve made various improvements and fixes which should make using Chaos Control more enjoyable and productive.

From now on list sorting syncs across devices. Please note that if you use the app on other platforms you will need to update Chaos Control there as well. We've also added more sorting options like alphabetical sorting and sorting by modify date. Just press the context menu button (see the 6-dot icon in the upper-right corner) to access the sorting menu.
We've also improved sync stability, security and speed to ensure seamless sync across all of your devices.

- All the Premium features are free now. The only limitation of the free version of the app is 75 tasks/10 projects that can't be created without upgrading to Premium

This update incorporates new iOS12 features:
SIRI SHORTCUTS
You can now create special Siri commands that will open particular task lists in the Siri interface. Here are a couple examples:
- Siri, what’s up for today? (to see today’s tasks)
- Siri, what should I do in New York? (to see tasks in the “New York” context task list)
- Siri, show me my conference plans (to see tasks from a particular conference-related project)
- And so on
Use Siri Shortcuts to see your Chaos Box, a project, a context or tasks for today or tomorrow.
INTERACTIVE NOTIFICATIONS
Any reminder now has a special, expanded view showing your task details, like project and context names and dates. Also, you can now mark a task as “Done” in the notification dialog, move the task to Tomorrow, or “snooze” the reminder for 15 minutes or an hour.
DAILY “DUE TODAY” REMINDER
Set up a daily “Due Today” reminder which will be shown every morning. This kind of interactive notification provides a quick look at today’s task list without opening the app.
(Please note that you will need to update your device to iOS 12 to use these features.)

This update is focused on improving the general usability and stability of the app. Here are some of the notable features added:
- The Settings Menu now has a dedicated Siri section. You can set up the integration and learn how to use it to add tasks to Chaos Control vocally.

This is a major update with new features:
1. "Classic" App Menu
We added an alternative version of the app menu. The "Classic" option for the menu's UI/UX is basically what we had in the "old" version of the app (but better). Many of you asked to bring it back, so here we go!
Just go to the Settings section and choose between the "classic" and "compact" options.
2. New iPad UI/UX
We significantly improved how the app looks and works on iPad. Nothing to say here really, just try it out and let us know what you think!
3. Color Themes
Now you can customize the app look and feel with various color themes. This is a part of our Premium offering.
4. Apple Watch
Chaos Control now supports Apple Watch. Check out tasks for Today and Tomorrow, show information about your tasks on your watch face, manage notifications and more.
5. Siri
Chaos Control now can interact with Siri. Use voice command to add tasks, notes and quick ideas into Chaos Box.
Here is what you can say to Siri:
- Siri, add a task called "Call Mom" in Chaos Control
- Siri, remind me to call mom today at 5pm in Chaos Control
- Chaos Control, remind me to call Jake and discuss our project Tomorrow at 7PM
Please note that in order to make Siri work with Chaos Control you need to go to the Settings -> Siri of your device and switch on the "Use with Siri" option for Chaos Control. After that wait for 10-15 minutes before using Siri and you're good to go.

This update brings some major usability and performance improvements:
- Each list now supports native swipe functions. Right-to-left swipe lets you easily edit and delete items. Left-to-right swipe lets you complete projects and tasks
- Daily Plan now shows you all repetitions of recurring tasks, not just first repetitions
- All lists have headers showing you tasks/projects number summary. Also, we facelifted section headers to improve clarity and readability of tasks lists

This is a follow-up update for the previous major release.
Version 1.10.1 fixes a bug with notifications and various small issues. If you are wondering why Daily Plan lost some of its features like monthly view, please don't worry. We are brining them back soon. Sometimes you have to sacrifice features to release an update in time.
Also, the current version of iPad UI is a not final and definitely isn't optimal. Second iteration of iPad UI will be launched in couple weeks.
