The latest version of chess24 for iOS adds a Notification Center Widget for iOS 8 users. The widget helps you keep track of all our live tournament broadcasts. We've also adjusted the strengths of our offline computer opponents while adding a new Custom Computer Opponent for Premium Members, where you can set the strength and time control manually. By popular demand we've added the option to confirm each move before it's played, so you don’t have to suffer from finger slips anymore. To use that new functionality you simply need to activate it in your settings during a game.

We’ve also made sure that you’ll be taken to the most recent round when selecting a tournament, which should make things a little easier with a lot of tournaments running simultaneously.
Furthermore, we’ve fixed a bug that could cause the app to crash on devices running iOS 8.3 when you tried to login. That was a nasty one, wasn't it?

With this update, we're combining the games that you've played, your local analyses and all of your PGN files into one single area. In addition, we integrated iTunes File Sharing. Now, you can use iTunes to transfer the PGN files that you already have to your device with a push of a button. All of your games, everywhere - with chess24 for iOS!

In this update we fixed an urgent bug, that appeared on new 64 bit devices, when coming back from the Live Tournaments section. As an addition we made the 'Piece Promotion' dialog faster in blitz games - so you lose less time choosing your desired piece even if you have the 'autoqueen' feature turned off!

We hate crashes! That's why we went in there, dug deep and fixed a whole lot of stuff that didn't behave the way it was told to. Additionally, we've found the time to make the guest experience even better. Oh, and we also improved our Broadcast section to be more responsive.
