ChibiStudio lets users create very cute characters by choosing from a variety of different items, colors and tools to customize your creation. Characters are made by picking from over a thousand options for eyes, hair, mouth, clothing, shoes and more. The characters can then be saved and exported to other apps such as photo and video editors.
It's a fun way for students to create drawing versions of themselves, friends and family or even historical characters, expressing their creativity and learning while also having fun.
The app offers over a thousand items for the user to choose from. Each item can also have its colors customized and can also be moved, scaled or rotated. The possibilities are endless.

This is a significant upgrade for iPad users! Make sure you've installed the latest iPadOS update to take advantage of full mouse, trackpad and keyboard support in ChibiStudio. Hover over items in the toolbar to see what they can do, use mouse and trackpad gestures to edit your chibi, you can also drag to select multiple chibis in the chibis tab. Hold down the Command key in the chibi editor to see the keyboard shortcuts that are available, try using the arrow keys to move the selected item on iPadOS 13.4 and above.
This release also includes the brand new HairMods pack, which lets you customize your chibi's hair even further by adding extensions, ponytails, fringes and more!
When adding an item to your chibi such as hairmods, that item will now use the same color of the hair. The same will happen for hands, which copy the skin color you've set for the body.
You can now long-press or right-click an item on your chibi to see a contextual menu that allows you to access some tools quickly and also reset that item to its original state, undoing all transforms and color customizations.
Meet the new Timeline tab: we made the third tab in the app much better by grouping stories by category and date. Keep in touch by getting the chibi of the week every Friday and learn with some of the tutorials we have at your disposal.
