About Child Welfare Academy
The Child Welfare Academy app is a tool that will make the practice of Child Protective Services workers from the Office of Children's Services in Alaska easier and more efficient.
Child Protective Services workers need to be able to have access to vital documents that pertain to their work on them while they are in the field, and nothing does this better than our mobile app. Protective Services workers make important, life-changing decisions on a daily basis and need to be able to react quickly in any given situation; with the CWA app, we make it possible for them to make sound decisions that are in the best interest of keeping children safe and families strong.
Not only does the CWA app contain these vital documents that are of upmost importance to Child Protective Services workers, but we also offer many other app functions that will make field practice more effective such as the Contact Service Providers tab and the Websites tab. These tabs offer useful websites and information for Child Protective Services workers to be able to connect clients and service providers easily, and include beneficial materials for both workers and the ones they serve. We are also featuring the comments section so that OCS workers can give us feedback on what will help further facilitate their practice.
The Child Welfare Academy app is highly useful for Child Protective Services workers and is an invaluable tool that will help to ensure child safety and the effectiveness of the work.
