Old Versions
In this update of Clockulus, we are trying a new format for release notes. No one wants to see "Fixed bugs" as the only release note.
New Features:
- The font picker now supports picking any font supported by the system. As a result, there are far more fonts available than before.
- Analog clock added for Clockulus Pro users
- Full-featured Today Widget added so you can have Clockulus in the Notification Center - the widget is just as customizable as the main app!
Localization:
- Clockulus now respects the date/time language for the primary language on the device and displays the date and time in that language
Colors:
- Background effects, when applicable, now come in new colors!
Background Effects:
- Added Hiragana background effect
- Added Katakana background effect
- Added Currency background effect
- Emoji background effect now has a lot more Emoji to display
- Raindrops no longer rotate as they fall
User Interface:
- Tweaked the Background Effect picker grid so all devices have two background effects on each row. This is especially useful to users on smaller devices
- The digital clock and date sizes now scale to the width of your device more correctly
- Haptic feedback for actions such as selecting colors
- Added help text on color picker to better explain how to use it
- Improved grid layout on Background Effect picker to better fit all screens
- Blur Behind Date/Time is now rounded
- Fixed text getting cut off in Settings on smaller screens
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a crash that could occur when using the Hearts background effect
- Fixed a bug where the Status bar would appear white even when using bright backgrounds in the Clock view
- Fixed a bug where the "Blur Behind Date" option would appear even when "Show Date" was disabled
Stability:
- Updated to the latest version of underlying libraries to improve stability and performance
- Fixed a potential memory leak that could occur under rare circumstances
