Woo hoo! 2015 is off with a bang, and we've hit the ground running in order to bring you our third app update. We continue to receive awesome feedback, and we’re putting it to good use. We think you’ll like these shiny new improvements. Check them out!
* Easier editing: A new Recorded Video Manager lets you quickly edit, share and download clips. Tap the scissors icon to get started!
* Video deleting: You can now permanently delete selected clips from the Closeli Cloud whenever you want.
* Detection Zones: Decide whether or not you receive motion and face alerts based on specific areas of a room.
* Improved night vision: Want to adjust night vision sensitivity? Wish granted.
•* Notification preferences: Easily turn phone notifications on/off within the app. You can now also edit preferences even if your simplicam is offline.
We’ve also crushed a few annoying bugs along the way.

Happy holidays, simplicam community! We’re downright giddy to announce our second app update, which includes an incredible state-of-the-art Face Recognition feature in beta. simplicam is the first and only home monitoring camera to offer this, and we want to know what you think about it. We even put an easy feedback button right in the app! Your input will help us make Closeli better and better. Here’s a recap of the awesome new stuff:
* Face Recognition technology that tells you who’s home! Register up to 10 people in your Face Recognition Manager. Get alerts when someone you know is home, or when an unrecognized person is home.
* The option to automatically delete or record video based on who is there.
* Face Recognition is available immediately in beta, and is automatically included with all Closeli Recording Services at no additional cost. If you’re already a subscriber, just update the Closeli app and take it for a spin! This feature is optional, meaning can choose to set it up if you want.
* An easy feedback button in the Closeli app lets you tell us what you think about the update. We really value your input!
We also dusted a few corners: we made email notification preferences better and added a “Restore purchase” button in plans in case of hiccups.

Greetings, simplicam family! This is our first app update since launching in August 2014. We’d like to thank you for the fantastic feedback you’ve given us. It’s helping us make Closeli better! That being said, we’ve been pounding caffeine around the clock, and this is what happened…
• A popular wish was fulfilled. Alakazam! You can now filter events by type (sound, motion or face). This makes it easier to find a specific event that you’re looking for.
• The live view got better. We fixed a bug that made your live video feed go idle after 5 minutes. Now you can watch away.
• Our upgrade process improved. Upgrading to Closeli Recording Services is now much smoother!
• Bugs got busted. We squashed some annoying bugs that were squirming around.
