Code of Ethics Description
The professions which work with and for people have, historically, provided themselves with deontological codes in order to regulate decision making in a well-founded way, especially when conflicts arise. Given that the social and cultural context evolves and varies, it is advisable to revise the codes periodically in order to adapt them to the new situations and to the new emerging social and professional values.
To this end the Catalan Council of Nurses considered it fitting to draft a new code of ethics adapted to the reality of our time.
